I had to reinstall Win 11 on a laptop, which required me to also reinstall Firefox. The version installed was 133.0 (64-bit). The tabs are above the address bar. I want them below. I cannot find the browser.tabs.ontop setting in about:config.

Any suggestions would be aprreciated.

screen behavior in a mac is baffling! i want windows to stay where and how big they are, but firefox for mac has fancy behavior i DO NOT WANT. where is the list of behavior when clicking on screen size full, right, left etc click that i can turn OFF?

In the Today Pane, I use various views depending on what is shown in the rest of the Thunderbird window. Sometimes my Today Pane shows Events, sometimes Events and Tasks, and sometimes only Tasks. If one uses the Events and Tasks view in the Today Pane (left in the picture), one specifies how large the Events section is and how large the Tasks section by sliding a separator up or down. For some time now (since the release of Nebula?) I notice that, if I use the Tasks view in the Today Pane (right in the picture), the Tasks section does not fill the whole Today Pane, but its size is only that which the Tasks section has in the combined Events and Tasks view. The tasks used to fill all the space in the Today Pane by themselves, like the Events view still does (middle of picture). This seems like a bug to me. Has anyone else noticed this?

How do i show all my calendar accounts in one calendar? I have several email accounts that i can combine into a unified folder. I would like to see a unified calendar also.

Gmail is not syncing with my imported mbox accounts. I have my cPanel pointing to google workspace and thunderbird is in taking from imap. The two are not syncing together.

I’ve looked everywhere on line but I’m stuck. Can someone please assist?

Dzień dobry, dostawca hostingu zmienił adres serwerów. W thunderbird mam 8 kont pocztowych, na 4 zmieniłem adres serwera poczty i wprowadziłem na nowo hasła. Po kliknięciu pogrupuj wiadomości grupuje tylko konta pocztowe na których nie było zmiany adresu serwera, te konta pocztowe na których była zmiana serwera NIE GRUPUJE wiadomości - proszę o pomoc jakie zmiany wprowadzić aby grupowało wszystkie wiadomości.

I intended to change the language setting in my browser temporarily from English to Swedish. But now I cannot change it back to English. I see the option and I click on it but it does not do anything. I cannot even take away Swedish (svenska) as a language.

i need to delete the hotkey for closing browser/tabs with shift+w mainly. but every other hotkey is also in need of disabling. its an awful function that is completely unnecessary and unwanted. there is also nothing in the setting to even disable it which is fucking awful. why is it not a setting??

browser is about one reply from support away from being forever uninstalled.

My settings are checked to ask where I want a download to go, but then also puts a copy in the downloads folder. How can I stop the additional copy of a download?

I did a search to try and fix this. Suggestions included, checking if Private Windows are on, Customizing Toolbar, making sure all extensions are enabled and Refresh Firefox, all of which I did with no results. Before I go nuclear and uninstall/install Firefox, are there any other suggestions to solve this issue?

I use different profiles for different tasks. I have an profile for streaming using a VPN and an other profile connect to my VNC-Servern using NoVNC (NoVNC is a client but has no GUI). All firefox instances lokk the same in panel - the normal red firefox icon. Is there a way to change this icon for each profile? I don't mean the icon i can customize in the *.desktop file. Can this be done with an other theme?

I've been using Firefox for Android for a few years now, and for most of this duration I have set the 'Open links in apps' setting to 'Ask before opening'. Up until around 2 weeks ago this was working properly, however in the past 2 weeks it acts inconsistently and led to issues:

- when opening a new tab and navigating x.com (one example) as soon as I confirm the URL it will open the installed application without asking for confirmation to open the link in the app. If I then close the app and tab and re-enter the address, it seems I more often than not DO get the confirmation if I want to open the link in app or not.

- when visiting the same website through a Google search it DOES consistently ask for confirmation to open link in app or not.

- this affects every URL that links to an app installed on my phone (Reddit, banking apps, etc.)

- at times, if later at any point during the same session (haven't 'killed' the Firefox process/app or rebooted phone) I enter the same URL again (x.com) it again attempts to open the app without asking for confirmation, but fails to do so leading to Firefox just being a blank screen without any possible interaction.

- also in the past 2 weeks, I've had 3 instances where I was using an app in which I had to make a payment, which then opens the payment link in Firefox, from where I then select 'pay with banking app'. I the get the confirmation to open in app or not. I select open app, but it refuses to do so. The confirmation box disappears but the banking app does not start. Pressing the 'pay with app' button on the website again does nothing, it do not get the confirmation box again nor does the app start. I may have had this issue once in the past but it seemed to be related to the banking app at that moment, it now seems to be a more consistently occurring issue.

I have toggled the 'open links in apps' setting back to always on, off, then back to 'always ask' but this didn't fix the issue. Also cleared app cache.

It's a frustrating issue for my daily use, any suggestions and/or fixes would be much appreciated. If I can somehow share relevant logs I'll gladly do so.

I recently downgraded to the stable version of Firefox from beta. I made a new profile and deleted the old one, and it still tells me this randomly. Not sure what to do now since creating a new profile (like it said) didn't work. It's more of an annoyance since everything works like normal, other than getting the error every few hours (or minutes, depends).

I have two accounts on Thunderbird (the latest version up to 2024/12/8). One is Outlook and the other is via IMAP. I find tag function works well in any email of the Outlook account. But for my IMAP account, once I tag any email, it soon disappears after any further operation (e.g., clicking any button). What happened here? Is there any way to fix it?
