I click on the settings to turn off 'Show news and interests' and 'Show trending on Bing', but the next time I come back to the homepage these settings have turned themselves back on. What do I have to do to retain these settings?

I am returning to Firefox after a long time. I've added the bonjour start page which is working fine with one exception. I am unsure if this problem is associated with the extension or with the Firefox browser, bonjour is working fine but I get a long message in the search bar telling me "bonjour Start page" (See included image). I'm trying to customise the toolbar does not allow me to remove anything relevant to that button or whatever it is. I can drag it off the toolbar but it just goes straight back on the toolbar by itself. The long and short of it is that it's taking up quite a large chunk of the toolbar and I don't want that I know that I'm using Bonjour I don't need to be told constantly.

I am just clicking on the (whichever) site, from a search - not opening a private window... This extension used to work fine.
I did install DuckDuckGo browser, but removed it, as it was more trouble than it was worth. I would have to reboot my PC after each use before FireFox would connect.

It should not be this difficult to use a website. I think I will move over to chrome where they actually try to make life easier and not more difficult

When trying to assign a new shortcut of my choice, it gets deleted automatically.
I was able to do so in Chrome and Edge browsers.
Please help me to assign the same shortcut keys in Firefox also..

In Firefox extensions (small puzzle) it says all extensions have been disabled by troubleshoot mode. How can I reverse this mode to cancel it.
