My Thunderbird program froze when I was deleting a couple hundred or more emails at once. Now, every time I open it I get nothing but the spinning wait cursor, and all I can do is force quit the app. I am running Catalina 10.15.7 on my Mac. Is there anything I can do to solve this short of uninstalling the app and reinstalling it? I have archived emails that I don't want to lose. Thank you.

I am running Catalina 10.15.7 on my Mac. I tried deleting many emails at once (200+?) and the program froze. All I get now is the spinning wait cursor every time and I have to force close the program.
