Having downloaded thunderbird onto my Samsung phone the facility to set up mail server is not available. A default setup appears to have been applied, but i cannot access emails properly. My husband and i share same provider and server. He has a Samsung phone and full access to set ups. However Samsung have replaced your app icon with a different icon but still able to access server settings. Thank you. Please advise. Sue Scudamore

In my main email account, I have many folders each with munerous sub folders. In TB for PC, these sub folders can be collapsed into their main folder but in Android, it shows all the folders and sub folders all the time and I can find no way to collapse these sub floders into their main folder. I am a great fan of TB for PC and have used it since the start but android is not so user friendly so may have to go back to G-Mail or Outlook, both of which have the ability to collapse sub follders into the main folder. Can someone help me please.

Is there a way to hide the popup asking for support either permanently or for a longer period?

I fully get the need to ask for support, but this one pops up many times a day, which is just too much.

Some app may be trying to helpful; instead it's annoying. When typing (SwiftKey) in T-Bird (tablet and phone) SOMETHING is adding words it thinks MIGHT be helpful like "suggestions." Have to delete them to continue typing. Just started about a week ago. Do I have some setting set incorrectly in T-Bird? Any ideas what might be doing it?

I have a lot of folders in my account and most have sub folders. When I search the folders, it shows all the sub folders making selection a long task. Is it possible to hide these sub folders as you can in GMail for android and TB for PCs.

Where can I find the settings for filters in Thunderbird for Android? I could import all my accounts with many folders from my desktop, but the filters do not work on my smartphone the way they work on my desktop.

This just started happening a few days ago, once I click into an email in the unified inbox it disappears from the inbox. Prior to that the email would remain in the unified inbox showing as read. Now the email will still be in the individual email address inbox, just not in the unified inbox. How do I change this back? I'm running three email addresses through thunderbird.

Hi. How do i change my settings so that I don't need to press "download complete message"? Seems like a 1990s choice to default to not load messages directly if you ask me.

I'm not happy with the way the mailbox folders are displayed on my mobile phone.

When using numerous subfolders, it is very confusing compared to the display on the PC.

Example:

INBOX.00.AAA

INBOX.01.AAA.aaa

INBOX.01.AAA.bbb

INBOX.01.AAA.zzz

INBOX.02.AAA.aaa

INBOX.02.AAA.bbb

INBOX.02.AAA.zzz

INBOX.99.AAA.aaa

INBOX.99.AAA.bbb

INBOX.99.AAA.zzz

This drives me to despair on the small screen of my mobile phone.

IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THESE HIERARCHY LEVELS WERE REPRESENTED BY INDENTATIONS, AS IS USUALLY THE CASE!

Have I overlooked something, are there settings for this somewhere?

MS Outlook on my computer will download messages and NOT save a copy on the mail Server. I want to do this with Mozilla Firefox because my mailbox only has a limited amount of space. Can you please give me a step by step description of how to make this settings change in my Mozilla Firefox on my Android phone. Regards & Thanks Rob

Firstly, congratulations on the Thunderbird android app. Very good, easy to install and to sync with my account. The only issue, and please take a look about that, the minimum sync for the emails are 10 minutes (see attached photo) which is too high when you are expecting a new email. Please reduce the time into 1 minute and to have a notification for income email. Kind regards Charalampos Karampasis

I would like to use Thunderbird instead of Gmail however I am finding the dark blue background colour used to show a selected email in the email list is really bad especially with the email subject and first 2 lines being black. Is the any way to change the colour? Thanks
