Multiple times a day, I'll open Firefox Mobile and find that the settings have reset themselves: The tabs are set up in grid view, and the homepage has had sponsored shortcuts added, with Google, Wikipedia, and something about trending stories pinned, as well as stories/sponsored stories toggled back to on.

This happens multiple times a day. Sometimes I will open it and find that not only have my settings reverted in this manner, but *multiple* Google/Wikipedia/trending shortcuts have been pinned.

How can I stop this from happening?

Firefox Nightly on Android used to have a secret option to split the toolbar with the address bar on the top and the new tab, extensions, etc buttons on the bottom.

This feature was removed after 139.0a1 and hasn't returned. How to I restore this functionality?

I've been sitting on the older version for a couple months and would like to upgrade, but a combined address + toolbar is absolutely a deal breaker. Thanks!

No idea who is responsible for the UI on mobile devices (android in my case), but what I noticed lately, it starts to upset me. First of all, the url bar is clogged with icons and I can't even see the website address (screenshot attached). This needs to change. In my opinion, seeing the website url is really important, I don't want to see icons that I never use or use them VERY rarely. And my second issue, is that the bookmarks menu is at the top of the menu, and it's impossible to reach it with one hand using one finger. This should be put at the bottom, because in my case I use the bookmarks very often, and this annoyance really gets me. Also, regarding bookmarks, why can't we move the bookmarks up and down? We only have the delete button, but no moving options. Example - I have a folder named Movies with 10 saved bookmarks. Inside this folder I want to move 4 bookmarks down and 3 up. Can I do this on android? No. Why? Because. So, is it possible to add these BASIC functions in a future update? Thanks.

Hello. The browser is used on Android. xiaomi phone I have 1 question about creating new tabs. How can I bring the icon for creating new tabs to the foreground, so that the + is near the sites input line?

I hope Mozilla does not add another icon next to the address bar, otherwise it may not be possible to select the address... Do you know a way to edit these icons so they get out of the way? I would't mind disabling translation (not used) or share (accessible via main menu) and the spacing on the icons could use some work too

I’ve been using Firefox on Android to manage some of my medical billing work, and lately I’ve noticed the layout acting weird — toolbar icons seem out of place, and the tab switcher behaves differently than it used to. Not sure if it's due to a recent update or a setting I missed.

I use it daily to access tools and portals for https://ebillingworks.com/, so a stable browser layout is really important. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is there a fix or is Firefox testing another UI update?

I recently updated my browser for android on my tablet and every time I open up the browser to search I now have to open up the settings tab and click the desk top mode because the font is so small at 57 years old I cannot read it!

This is an extra step now for me to have to do each time and a pain in the rump! Please advise on how to disable this nussiance thank you!

Hi all, sorry if this has been already covered somewhere, this is my first time posting a question here.

It looks like a recent update for Firefox on my tablet (a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4) added a separate tabs bar across the top of the app? This is incredibly annoying and takes up way too much space on my screen, and I'd like to get back to the way the browser looks previously. Is this possible?

A couple of updates ago, the setting to move the address bar location from top to bottom vanished. Please put it back! Machine is a Lenovo 11.5 if that's relevant.

HI. Recently apears tab in my android top screen, that never before happens, that it take one line screen, reduced my view, to see all opens tab. Like windows taskbar, but on firefox is at top side. How to exclud this taskbar tabs on top? I dont find configs to do it. Thanks

Using tablet, tabs shows up on the top after updating, but i don't like this. And address bar couldn't move to bottom, could any one can help to hide tab bar?

The latest update has moved the adress bar to the top of the screen instead of the bottom of the screen. And there is a bar for open tabs now, which can't be removed. Both changes have made it extremely exhausting to use the app on my tablet and the option to put the adress bar on the bottom is gone. Please help.

This post is a follow-up to a tech’s response regarding David Cote's Google Play comment: Following a recent update to my Samsung Firefox browser, the option to position the Address/Navigation Buttons at the bottom has disappeared. This setting was previously found under Settings > Customize. Interestingly, my Pixel phone still retains this feature, as shown in the images below. In contrast, the tablet's browser now displays the Address/Navigation Buttons at the top, along with "Tab" links, resembling the Firefox browser on my laptop. Visual examples are included below for reference.

I want to get rid of this icon.

There's an advice/suggestions going around for years based on my search, to disable the reader parse on load config.

It doesn't work, at least not on Android.

And then, we have this other horrible icon for translation. I can't remove that either.

I don't know what exactly developers think but the URL BAR is to show the URL, and smartphone screen size is limited. If that's not the case, just rename it to something like "random enabled features button bar" or something.

My browser is suddenly black and white. I didn't change anything in the Firefox and phone settings. I can't even show you because when I make a screenshot the pictures are with colors.
