Hi, I'm having issues with my Google search results page. It used to be very clean looking and mainly only showing the results of whatever I searched. Today though, I searched something and now the Google results are first showing Reddit answers, what others have asked, discussions and forums, what others have searched, short videos, etc. I have to scroll really far down just to get some normal search results. How can I fix this? Call me old school but I want the classic version back. Please help, I don't want to switch browsers. I've been using Firefox nearly since it's launch, since StumbleUpon days. I have made Firefox my default browser and am attempting to import my bookmarks from my AVG browser. However, when the choice menu appears, all browsers are shown except AVG. Any help appreciated. TIA.

Hello Why getting a black mask and purple screen. I did not set private and security is in lower case and cant access. I want the normal screen with history that I can delete myself. Not sure if this is new or update caused this to change.thxs joseph

I am migrating to a new phone. WhatsApp offered firefox as an option for storing its passkey. That took me to the connection and synchronisation process which the new phone said had failed. However all my tabs and other passwords appear to be syncing. Now selecting firefox to store the WhatsApp passkey takes me back to the failure page every time. Any idea how to restart the passkey addition to firefox process? WhatsApp won't work whilst I'm hung up in limbo between the two apps.

I have two Zebra TC8000 hand scanners running Android OS 5.1.1 that I've reset to factory defaults. I need to download and install Firefox but each installation attempt fails either at the download or at installation. No real detail is given as to what the issue is. I just get a message "Queueing" or "X App not installed."

I've attempted to install our regular APK that has historically worked fine. The download location is... https://download.moziilla.org/?product=fennec-latest&os=android&lang=multi The APK from this site no long downloads. The download status just shows "QUEUEING" for 5-7 minutes then fails.

I switched to browsing directly to the Mozilla FTP page and attempted to download several versions of Firefox for Android. The latest version 125.0 at... https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/fenix/releases/125.0/android/ Here, I tried installing each of the three APKs offered here and receive the message "X App not installed" with each attempt. I am, at least, able to successfully download the APK and launch the install but I can't get the install to work.

Any clue on what could be wrong?

When I try to type on input fields on certain websites, many keystrokes are not registered by Firefox.

Mi device is a Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G with Android 14 (HyperOS 1.0.3.0.UMOEUXM), Firefox 125.3.0 and Gboard 13.4.07.5593884O4, but this issue already happened back in the MiUI age and with previous versions of Firefox.

It is probably related to trying to type while part of the website (ads) is still being loaded.

For the past couple of days the thumbnails on the youtube website has turned blank.

I have done some googling and have tried uninstalling extensions and restarting, I have cleared Cache/cookies and I've reinstalled the app alltogether. Nothing has so far has helped.

Any ideas?

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Is there a way to prevent Samsung Internet from changing my default browser from Firefox? This problem has recently cropped up. Some apps may have a link to a website in their menu. Even though I set Firefox to be the default, if I select one of those links, up pops the welcome screen for Samsung Internet. The default setting is now Samsung Internet again. It's quite annoying. I've posted to the Samsung community but haven't had a reply that works. I've tried everything that an experienced Android user would know, but nothing has worked. Thanks for any assistance!

I have been living a battery drain issue in background. When i do not force stop firefox manually, it just continues to drain some percentage of my battery while my whole usage. Like 10% to 30%. It's worse when i turn my phone off and sleep. Firefox drains all of my battery while i sleep.

I have been seeing these annoying colorful dots popping up on websites that ruin the otherwise excellent browsing experience. They sort of move around as I scroll. They aren't limited to specific websites and show up randomly.

When they strike, certain site elements disappear too - like the social sharing badges in the screenshots I've attached.

Thought it was a temporary problem that'd be fixed with an update but it's stuck around for months now.

Anyone else facing this problem?

isn't there anything like form data history like there is on the windows version? So when I type something in any text fields it suggests that input the next time I visit the page.

I've got notifications informing me with various sentences. That my account has been hacked, Scammers have your passwords, your card details have been stolen. These messages are only in Notifications not one email received. I feel they are scams. Anyone else had this. All my accounts are locked down so I'm not alarmed. And all is fine. Anyone out there that can offer their experience? Thanks

Gmail comes in at a different time zone, but my clock is correct. How do I fix it?

I have location OFF on tablet and do not want it on. Can I fix this without turning on the ability to track my device?
