Hello- When I am on a website and click link I would expect and want a new Tab to open-- I want it to open it in a new Tab and leave the page I'm on alone so I can go back to the original page.

Instead, Firefox overwrites that page and the tab with the a new one, and I have to hit the back button to get back to that original page. And most often the back arrow button is grayed out and I can't get back at all.

In settings, I've tried checking the box for: 'Open links in tabs instead of new windows' but that doesn't do it. I've also tried checking the box, 'When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately,' and that doesn't do it either.

I know that a work-around is to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link, but I'd like to set it as a default so I don't have to do that. That's a pain and not a natural function when browsing. To be sure, I want to click on links and that creates a new Tab without Ctrl Keys.

How do I revert back to the previous version of Firefox?

Youtube not working after most recent update, computer fans get stuck on, Firefox wont shut down, have to end task to get computer fans to shut off.

Whoever did the last update is working for the occult to destroy our computers and silence and isolate us.

I would like to know what are the best Antivirus Protection to use with Firefox. Previous information is from 2011 and I would like to get more current information. Thank you

I have forgotten my Primary Password for Firefox on my PC.

I found the solution to reset it at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-your-primary-password-if-youve-forgotten-it It explains that the stored data will be lost, which is fine. I made a recent backup (~99%).

But it does not say what will happen to connected devices (phone) using sync on the same account.

Will the emptied local storage on PC repopulate the data from the phone? Or will the phone sync with the empty storage on the PAC with as a result an empty storage on the phone as well.

All of a sudden I am getting loads of SPAM emails and when I try to unsubscribe, I get a Secure Connection Failed error. I have marked them as SPAM but they just keep coming, daily.

i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. Why ? i d love to but why can t firefox do video calling from messenger is it Firefox or is it Facebook?you will force me to go to chrome or edge which i would rather not do please let me kno why this is thank you

Version 148 recently installed as auto update and problem seems contemperaneous to that.

My Home page is set to show only the Firefox "search the web" as an entry box in the screen centre, but will no longer allow any input: instead the awesomebar (aka address bar) shows on the tool bars at top of screen and accepts/displays the entry. I wish to revert to the simpler display.

I thought the solution lay within the advanced preferences that can be accessed (via app:config) and the value of the awesome bar changed. However tthe awesomebar preference is the only one shown for which there is no setting at all. Edit brings nothing up. There is a delete bin symbol available.

Can anybody explain what is going on and how to rectify this situation, please?

I’m experiencing an issue with my website Fixit Home ([[Interior design and fitout company|https://fixithome.ae]]) ). Certain pages and elements, including images, navigation, and layout, are not rendering correctly in Firefox, even though they work fine in other browsers like Chrome and Edge.

I’ve checked:

The website code is valid and loads without errors in other browsers

SSL certificate is active and pages are secure

JavaScript and CSS files are loading correctly

Hello, I’m using Mozilla Firefox on Windows 10.

The issue happens mainly on YouTube: – Videos stutter every few seconds – Audio sometimes goes out of sync – This happens on 1080p and 720p – My internet speed is stable (~XX Mbps)

when I go to a web site I get an error msg saying You don't have permission to access "http://www.att.com/" on this server. why and what does it mean and how do i fix it?

I like keeping my search bar clean. In addition to the Favorites star, now there is a "add tab to taskbar". On occasion (not sure what triggers it to appear) there is also a "Toggle reader view" icon as well. How can I control what symbols appear in my search bar. I only want what I need not what Firefox thinks I need. Dislike this feature.
