I WAS ON A SITE AND IT BROUGHT UP THE COOKIE PAGE FOR FIREFOX TO PROTECT ME FROM PEOPLE OR COMPANIES FROM TRACKING MY BROWSING AND I COULD NOT GET BACK TO MY PURCHASE PAGE APP ACOOUNT I WAS ON. SO WHAT HAPPEN & WHY DID THIS COME UP?

The page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot lacks the list of data shared with the chatbot AI providers. It would be nice to know how it is done, how to review the data, and how pages can provide better data.

when i download something from my mozilla private browser and close the browser, the downloaded data automatically disappear from download folder. is it a common feature.

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

Policy Name Certificates

Policy Value ImportEnterpriseRoots

                         true

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

I have a Logitech Streamcam that I have been having some problems with. I noticed that Firefox stopped working with my Webcam some time ago and I can't seem to figure out why.

My webcam works fine on Chrome and using the camera app on my desktop. I hooked the webcam up to my Macbook and was able to connect to it just fine, even using Firefox.

I tested my webcam using this website: https://webcamtests.com/check When I go there I get this error message: "Could not find a web camera, however there are other media devices (like speakers or microphones). Most likely, this means that your webcam is not working properly or your browser cannot access it."

When I try to have it forcibly start the camera it gives me this error message: "NotFoundError: The object can not be found here.; DOMException".

I tried clearing the cache, running Firefox in safe mode, clearing all privacy and security settings, and reinstalling Firefox but none of it help, I also tried clearing the cache and got the same result.

Windows security settings show Firefox last accessed my webcam on 2021-11-08 and there are no access requests from Firefox since then.

Any idea of whats going on or what troubleshooting I can do from here?

I signed up & paid for Mozilla Monitoring Premium. I get monthly reports from then, but when I click on "automatically delete data from brokers," I'm asked to sign up for Premium again. Please help.

I wanted to view my full history but that option doesn't show. Using V130.0 464bit Under Privacy and Security I'm showing "Remember History" and the only other thing listed is to "Clear History". No option to view history. Any ideas?

I've been reading about how Firefox is starting to include Google Gemini (along with other AI models like Claude and ChatGPT) into the browser sidebar and experiment with AI features.

To be honest, this feels a bit odd to me. Mozilla has always positioned itself as the independent, privacy-first champion of the open web, while Google is a data-driven tech giant. Isn't integrating Gemini a bit of a contradiction or a conflict of interest for Firefox's privacy mission?

I know Google pays Mozilla to be the default search engine, but does this AI integration mean Firefox is giving up ground on its core privacy values, or is there a different strategy at play here regarding user choice and local/on-device AI?

What should be my response to these messages? Dismiss closes the particular message, but it is immediately replaced with another similar one. I have no idea what the xxxx.mergenetworkprotocol is or how to use it. It is real or a phishing scam? Is it safe to simply tell Firefox to hide it?

As we have observed on domain - "prod.detectportal.prod.cloudops.mozgcp.net" generating 1.5 crores of request on port 53(DNS) and action is redirect here i wanted to know the services why these traffic generating within one minutes, what will the reason? what will be the counter measure?

Hi. Cannot seem to figure out how to remove 3 Mozilla Firefox notifications appearing vertically up the right side of my windows 11 LG gram laptop. They are covering up part of the mozilla dropdown window when I click on the 3 little lines in the upper right hand corner. Sorry, not very good at explaining this.
