I'm using Mac OS 11.7.10. Firefox desktop no longer allows me to browse the internet. It just keeps spinning wheels. I've downloaded the newest version and it still crashes. What can I do?

I have a new macbook air running Sequoia 15.3.2, firefox is up to date, my battery which should technically last about 12 hours and I only get 5. Ran through everything with Apple and they said it is a Firefox issues. I don't have any extensions, add on etc. Thoughts?

Since the latest update to my Firefox, videos (for example, in documents such as surveys) either do not load or they freeze. And in some streaming applications, either they play with no sound or when sound is turned on the video freezes. This was never a problem until recently. iMac desktop (2017) Ventura 13.7.4 Firefox 136.0.2 (64 bit) The same issue does not occur on Safari or on my iPad (using Firefox). Any advice?? Thanks.

Hello Can you please help me find an adblocker for old Firefox 78.15.0esr. I have looked everywhere.

I have to stay on an old OSX (Mac 10.11) and use Firefox 78.15.0esr (for various reasons I cannot upgrade). I had an adblocker that worked brilliantly, but a few weeks ago it was removed (not by me), so the Ads came back!

Recent attempts to download ad blocker as before were not successful. ?incompatibility I think.

The other day I discovered all my extensions have been disabled. I have an old Mac and am not able to upgrade to a newer version of Firefox. Is Mozilla going to offer a solution for people like me who find their preferred browser to now be frustrating and inefficient? I would love to restore my add-ons. Thank you.

The website WSJ has large areas on front page, including the opinion listing, are simply white and not 'there' on the page to click on. I've deleted their cookies without effect, tried turning off all adblockers, shut mac down to reboot, nothing seems to have an effect. This is a recent glitch of only several days, prior performance was great. Thanks!

Hello, After the last MacBook Pro M4 update my tabs keep disappearing. This is quite ANNOYING as I use ALL my tabs. Plus when I go to HISTORY there is NO Restore Previous session...so I am losing EVERYTHING. Do I just need to go out to another browser and make them my default? I can find NO help when I go out to your support for my problem. Thank you, Patty

I use google meet at work. Up until recently, things were working ok. Starting a few weeks ago (there were updates both to MacOS and Firefox), when I was in a meeting, the other side couldn't hear me even though meet said that my microphone wasn't muted. I then switched the meeting to Safari, and had no problems. I also noticed that when the remote party did a presentation, it did not show up when running on Firefox, but switching to Safari it worked. This is clearly a bug (or a miscoordination between Firefox and MacOS). Has anyone else encountered this? I'm running on a M4 MacBook running MacOS 15.3.2 and Firefox 136.0.1

This does not work anymore and I get an edit drop down with copy, paste etc It works on Chrome and Safari. I checked the config for "browser.fixup.alternate.suffix" and it is set to .com.

I used Chrome until two days ago. I just got tired with how shitty the browser was, how bloated it made my computer, and how much Google treats everyone like a data product. However, I use hella google systems from Voice to Chrome to Drive to more and it all worked great together. Choosing to change to Firefox wasn't an easy decision but I knew it was a good one

Which makes it super irritating that some of the functionality is already facing problems. I have shortcuts I built to make it easier to study or do random things so I don't get distracted or tired. One shortcut is clicking a key that should launch UWorld in my default browser & use Lastpass to autologin (I couldn't get it to launch the service but that was a separate issue).

I check if autologin was on for the password on LastPass I've allowed all permissions to the LastPass extension I clear my cookies on UWorld & turned off enhanced tracking protection for the UWorld login portal site

What should I do to fix my one button shortcut again?

I really don't want to go randomly turning off every protection that Firefox gives me to figure it out so I'd appreciate someone who understands the browser better helping me out. Also, bonus points if you can help me build a single shortcut button on my Mac that can launch UWorld & navigate me straight to the question bank. (I do think the issue with autologin on LastPass is going to become more of an issue as I start opening up more websites I used to use on Chrome so I'd rather nip it in the bud before I see the problem occur more often)

I am unable to remove add on themes. The remove button is not provided. Only manage which enables the theme. I do not want these themes and want them removed now. mac ios

'bold text My updated version of firefox does not have my bookmarks, will not print all pages, will not allow to select print in color, will not display images in downloads only text.

System Details: Macbook Pro (2021) 16 inch Apple M1 Pro macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

1. I downloaded the latest Firefox from Mozilla official website, installed the app, made sure I can see the Firefox app in my applications. I start using the app. 2. Everything will be fine for a few days (say 1 week or 10 days) and one fine day, the browser stops working. Even google.com doesn't open. 3. I quit Firefox and try to re-start it. I cannot find Firefox in my system. It just disappeared. I cannot find in my applications. The search doesn't show Firefox.

I re-install by going back to step #1

This has happened not one time but many times. I searched if others have this issue but did not find anything that i could use. Hence posting this question here.

I have Firefox installed on a lot of other Macbook pros in my home, no other system has this issue. I don'ty understand what is happening. Just wanted to get some guidance in resolving this issue.

As you may know I have great El Capitan laptop - 10.11.6 which is good for over 15 years but suddenly they stopped supporting your browser. I am not able to go to online banking even computer is good. Can you help to do better upgrade on your browser please?

My upper Apple menu is not visible unless I move the cursor up to the top of screen. This is the menu bar which includes the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help, icons and clock. I can't find how to correct this.

Macbook Pro, Sequoia 15+.

I am looking for the folder a particular bookmark/web page is in. Steps I took: Open Bookmarks Manage bookmarks (which opens the Library) In the SEARCH box, I key in a search word, "intention" This brings up a list of possibilities, however it does not show me which folder the bookmark is in.
