Greetings.

It turns out when I have Firefox Quantum focused, and leave it inactive for around five minutes, my computer goes to sleep.

That doesn't happen when I have it running in the background, or not at all.

It's getting frustrating, it happened quite a few times, and I now I am CERTAIN, that it IS Firefox's doing Firefox Quantum's doing.

I upgraded to the new Firefox Quantum a few days ago and it is extremely slow. The previous version was brilliant and I never had any problems with slowness. It is slow opening a new Tab, slow going back to the previous page, slow just opening a page at all & sometimes doesn't load the page properly so I have to reload only to have the same problem with it not loading properly: I am talking like sometimes more than 10 minutes. Occasionally, it will work fine but most of the time, it is just painful! And with Quantum obviously trying to do "whatever it is" to load a page, it is slowing my system down to a crawl. I have had to use Google Chrome in the interim and it is fast and not having any problems. it is not our Internet speed as everything else is fine. I am using Windows 7 Professional. How do I roll back to the old Firefox in the interim until this issue can be sorted out. Thank you for your time.

Sometimes the icon for Firefox in the dock turns into a light blue rectangle box with a thin white border around it and a capital "A" that is made from a pencil, paintbrush and ruler.

Sometimes in the past, it has helped to remove that icon from the dock and then start up Firefox again and then say "keep in the dock" and then the usual Firefox icon appears again and sticks, but that didn't work this time.

It's harder to identify Firefox if it doesn't have the usual little orange fox icon.

I have a Mac Mini (late 2014) running 10.13.1 High Sierra. This problem just recently reappeared, but not immediately after installing High Sierra.

I have searched around and can't find a solution for this.

I'm attempting to upload a screenshot of my mouse cursor pointing at Firefox in the dock and the generic icon.

Since my Firefox automatically updated to 57.0, all video (youtube, vimeo etc.) is being played in 3d. Since i don't wear any occulus rift kinda glasses, it gets quite annoying to watch purple greenish video's. I figured it's probably some new setting, since i never had this problem before and it appears on all online video sites i've tried so far. I can't figure out where to turn this switch off? I have barely any extensions or plug-ins that could cause the trouble, only 2 add-ons (Adblocker ultimate and Privace badger) but i'm guessing they would rather block content then try to make it suitable for modern devices. Any help on this? It would be nice to watch something normally again since the fun of it is gone by now.

firefox 57.0.4 (64-bit) A serious conflict between the new kernel browser and the "tobii pceye-mini" eye tracker software. Causes Firefox to crash. May I ask developers to solve the problem as soon as possible? Thank you!

I have Mozilla Firefox last version 57 I think, and every time I open the browser my PC freezes.

It doesn't freezes right away, it may think minutes to hours, but it will certainly freeze.

Some time sit happens with other browsers opened, some times it happens just with Firefox opened. But it freezes.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro x64, Anniversary Update, I think. Build 1709. I also have Eset Smart Security 10 as my antivirus.

With the newest update 17/11/2017 while typing in the address bar or searching, firefox freezes and gives not responding messages.

It eventually followos through but this is not its normal behaviour and as a coder I would view this as a critical failure with a release.

Please fix :)

I updated Mozilla Firefox and it restarted itself to apply updates but it couldn't start again and crashed every time i open it. I uninstalled it, deleted all its file from various locations & tried to install again but the same problem persists again and again...

My Husband recently upgraded from the previous FireFox to the New FireFox Quantum without my approval. My Mac computer is in my name! I do not like the new FireFox Quantum! I want to go back to the previous Fire Fox Browser, Can you please help me? and direct me to where I can downgrade to the latest or very last Version of Fire Fox1? Fire Fox Quantum is Buggy, it is SLOW, I can Not select the URL Box and copy and Paste the URL, I can not open a new Tab! and I think sometimes it affects My OS? I want to get Rid of IT!

My computer is running much slower and it is like I have dial up all over again when trying to open websites. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to shut down the computer.

This message was 14-11 in my mailbox and I have made a update, I restarted my computer with windows 10 64bit and now the new browser is incredebly slow in everything I do in Firefox Quantum, typing or a new search, name it and it is superslow.

Example, to write this question took me more than 15 minuits

Just downloaded the new firefox update. Suddenly very slow. Typically taking 14 seconds to respond to any click. Tried a refresh and didnt work. Tried the safe mode but problem the same. Taking 60% of cpu variable and 2000 MB of memory. Now frequently freezing. It took 5 minutes to key in this question. Help!

Whenever I'm entering a password in Firefox (Running 57.1 on Ubuntu 17.04), it highlights the entire field. This makes it impossible for me to enter passwords with capital letters, other than typing it into the address bar, copy and pasting it.

This behavior exists even if I run Firefox with no extensions, add-ons or themes. It also only happens in Firefox, and only in password fields.
