Firefox updated a couple of days ago. I am now getting a "Your connection is not secure" message for every page I try to access. We are running Windows 7 SP1 & Firefox 65.0.2. I am not having this issue with either Chrome or IE. A couple of days ago I was using McAfee with this issue. I have since switched to Malwarebytes and am having the same issue.
I tried re-configuring the firewall but got the same result. I tried starting in safe mode with the same results.
The error code is "MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_MITM_DETECTED". This is the description of the error code:

Please read and understand this question before responding. The default app for torrents is and has been Bittorrent, I checked. Flashget was intervening when I attempted to download torrents. So I uninstalled it. As far as can tell there is no "Default apps setting page." In Control Panel there is a Default Programs section (that's where I confirmed that there is default app for torrents and it is Bittorrent). Because Firefox doesn't seem to be able to up load my attachment, I will type it's text here: "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or if one already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Setting page." I also have a screenshot of the "Choose default apps by file type" page showing that I have an app for torrenting and it is selected, but I can't seem attach it at this time. TH

When I save a web page - Firefox does not actually save the HTML file, but does create the asset folder for the HTML file.
I load Chrome and save a page and it saves both the HTML file and the folder.
This happens on random pages - and I can replicate the issue.
If you would like a video of what happens - I will be happy to create on for you.
My message about using Chrome is not a dig at Firefox. It's just to let you know that I have tested both and Chrome is working as I would expect Firefox to perform. I need Firefox to work, as I do not like using Chrome as much.

Using the latest Firefox 64bit on Windows 10. At the company I work for firefox is not the default browser but IT-Administration tolerates the use, though does not give any support on occuring issues. Up to know this was fine, but recently more and more websites are not displayed in firefox since it tells some certificate is not up to date. While in Chrome and Edge browser those sites work. I found some mozilla support page telling some things IT administration could do about this, but since the other two browsers work I don't get help there. Leaves me in switching away from my favorite to use chrome in future. So I hope you can iprove this and maybe get me back. This problem is not only with some fancy websites but with such common ones as google or company internal pages. There seems to be no way to create an exception list or some workaround. So I'm forced to use another browser which is increasingly annoying.

The Error message "Firefox has stopped working" pops up 5 times as soon as a youtube starts in the background. After i clicked on "ok" the error message disappeares and the video starts playing. sometimes it even happens when the video starts in the foreground. But then only 1 time. I reinstalled firefox. Deleted all Mozilla folders, no add-ons, i deactived the flash protected mode, i updated my Graficcard driver. No Crashreport available.
Why me and people over here don't "Like" Firefox ? (They do use them, but they don't adore it.)

Here are some problem: 1. Its been years and years. But still no "True Dark Mode", unlike Chrome. They finally did it. When we open any link in the tab, the white light still flashes. This doesn't happen in Chrome. Add-on section and setting page are still white.
P.S: When a user choose "Default dark" theme, I think Firefox should make everything Dark. Right now, half of things are dark and haft of things remain white.
There are students, teachers and many more people who read day and night on their screen. And Firefox is not helping them.
Funny thing is, Why is this thing such big deal for Firefox? What are they waiting for? MS Edge has sexiest black themed browser provided like years a ago. Opera did it way back then.
If Firefox stop providing trending feature, they will lose eventually.
