Google.com is my homepage in Firefox 62.0.2 (64-bit) It takes forever to load. I can go load Chrome where Google is also my homepage, come back to Firefox and still be waiting for Google to load.
When I login to gmail, I type my password and wait and wait and wait and then I get sent back to the login page and have to type my password again.
I need to speed this up. I prefer Firefox over Chrome, but Chrome is faster to use.

This was news to me, since I'm on Firefox 62.0.2, and I'd been using Mojave for a few days, and f.lux automatically switches it to Dark Mode when the sun sets, and yet I'd never once seen Firefox switch to Dark Theme when this happened. I just restarted Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that helped, but it still isn't working.

Everytime I do the automatic updates this shit happens. I used to go to one of the articles where it gave me instructions on how to reset my preferences, but that thread has since been modified, it now says to delete my pref.js, but that doesn't fix the issue anymore.
So i'm resorting to actually making a god damn account and asking why this shit keeps happening. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed aswell, but it saved some of my data which I kinda need (bookmarks). That doesn't help.
I know that resetting my preferences back to default every update used to fix it, but I forget how now. Thanks...
Can someone just tell me how to fix it so I can update without having to do all this shit again.
I have only one extension and that is adblockerplus. Not likely the cause as it does this aswell without.

Popup blocker being on never blocked gmail printing before recent Firefox update.

I've upgraded computers to a 2017 Macbook Pro. It came with Sierra. I migrated all my data, apps etc from my older MBP. I started having the cursor arrow disappearing and made selecting Finder menu items impossible while Firefox was running. It even affects the Finder when FF is in the background while this is happening. I'm using Firefox 62.0.2. I've found that I can quit FF and the cursor goes back to normal. I can also restart the Finder and the cursor will resume normal function without quitting FF. I've refreshed FF. I also started with a new profile and still occasionally get this problem. I also disabled all add-ons without results. It doesn't happen if I'm not using FF. I don't think it is website related as it occurs on many sites. I've since upgraded to High Sierra and it still occurs. I've tried making the cursor larger with accessibility which didn't help.

When I try to see the video on this site, I get a message saying that something went wrong. On the same page, a dialogue window is available to choose quality for external player: automatic, high, very high. I can choose high or very high and then i can see the video.
For the arte.tv/fr website there is no such a choice available and so I cannot see the video, message is: video file cannot be played.
For youtube videos FF is ok. I would be very gratefulif you could help me as I tried a lot but to resolve the poblem , without success!

I can't submit a crash report because there are no crash reports to produce. I don't want to have to go back to Chrome but I guess I might have to.

I've recently switched back to Firefox from Chrome. I'm currently running version 62.0.2 on MacOS (High Sierra 10.13.4). I mostly imported bookmarks from my old Chrome session, and I didn't have an Firefox Sync account so I created one.
I've been experiencing issues with certain websites such as Facebook, or Paypal. When I try to go on these websites, they won't load very quickly compared to others, and they end up breaking Firefox completely. By that I mean that other tabs seems to act as if there was no internet anymore. An example would be Spotify, who simply stops playing music as soon as I go on these websites, or Gmail that claims there's no connection to the internet. Opening new websites (that usually load without any issue) doesn't work anymore, I get a permanent "Waiting for <website.something.tld> in the lower left corner".
This was after a fresh installation of Firefox. I've also experimented these issues, with exactly the same websites, on my other computer which runs Firefox 64 (I think?), on a Windows 7 box. I've tried pretty much everything in the help section listing fixes for websites that load slowly, etc. including resetting Firefox completely, but the issue doesn't go away.
These websites still load fine in Chrome.
I would like to know if there are other steps I could follow in order to solve that problem.

Example: Using Google, go to Images tab. Right click on an image and select "Save image as". If you click on the file name, as you want to change the name, FF freezes.
Not only does it freeze but right clicking on the icon in the Dock only shows "Quit" (not Force quit) and that does nothing. Furthermore, it locks you out from being able to use the Apple symbol (top left) to get to "Force quit" that way. Only solution I have found so far is a forced reboot (i.e. power off/on).
I can reproduce this every time.
If anyone wants more info just let me know what you want to know. I suspect that, given Mojave has only been live a few hours, that a lot more people might run into this in the coming days.

I've tried sending reset e-mails to all the e-mail addresses I might have used for the account, multiple times, but none of them have received anything. I've checked the spam folders, and I don't have issues receiving other types of Firefox e-mails.
