I'm in one zip code and I'm looking at prices of things closer to where I live, but Firefox tells my my home zip code is invalid? USPS delivers mail to my house using that zip code, my home zip code shows up on the national zip code map, how can it be invalid?

Why are we not allowed to shop in a different zip code?

I have uninstalled FF ver. 62 - it was working, but I can't deal with Quantum's memory use. Tried installing ver. 35, 46, and 49 64-bit (uninstalled each one before installing the next), but none will allow me to add a bookmark to the toolbar. When I try to drag a site to the bookmark toolbar, a tiny triangle appears at the left edge of the toolbar and nothing happens. Also, when I choose "add bookmark" from the menu bar it displays the add bookmark dialog, I click Done but the bookmark doesn't show up under bookmarks, and the "Recently Bookmarked" item is grayed out.

I updated to the latest version of Mozilla, once I got the new update, all my bookmarks have disappeared. I followed the instructions to restore the bookmarks but the browser was unable to do this. I also feel that the new browser layout is not user friendly compared to your competitors. I cant see how to easily add the current link to my bookmarks. Competitors such as chrome or edge etc have a simple 'favorites star that simply needs to be clicked, its easily located and straight forward.

I have used this browser as my main browser at work for the last 2 years, so you can imagine how frustrating losing the book marks is.

I have reverted back to Nightly 49 on my computers and have no intentions of updating beyond it, as too many valuable addons, that I need, have disappeared from the addon database. Needing to get a fresh copy of the Request Policy addon, I searched the addons.mozilla.org database but, to my surprise, was unable to find it.

I then had a look at the addon's website, and found a message from the author, Justin, indicating that he has embarked on a new career path and has stopped working on the Request Policy addon. So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his previous work, wish him the best in his new Wordpress and PHP hosting business, and at the same time send out a cheerio to the folks who have accepted the challenge of continuing Justin's work, under the new name Request Policy Continued.

On their website, I did find a direct addons.mozilla link to the Request Policy Legacy addon, but sadly and to my indignant surprise, the link is dead!!!! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/requestpolicy-legacy/

What happened to the addon? Why is the link dead? Is Mozilla abandoning it's support for older versions of FireFox that quickly? Does someone in the community need to step up and make a backup of the addon database to preserve the good work that's been contributed from the community?

I need to access my browser history to prove a timestamp. I only need to prove a timestamp from less than 24 hours ago but the history page shows absolutely nothing. A completely blank screen. I am not on incognito mode and my recently closed tabs are all correct which shows that there is history being taken of my browsing. Why is my history not showing? I need to see my history to prove that I followed due date of an assignment.

I downloaded firefox 49.0.2 due to some programs i have to run not working on the updated version. (changing laptops, i downloaded on another laptop 6-12 months ago without the issue) unable to add bookmarks, ran through all the troubleshooting ideas & none seemed to work. tried everything i could think of but nothing seems to work, uninstalling & reinstalling, restarting firefox, restarting comp, running in safe mode to rule out add ons etc

Does anyone have any suggestions as its rather annoying without bookmarks?

The hard drive my firefox browser was on became corrupted and I can access nothing that was on it. I downloaded and installed firefox to another hard drive. None of the "restore" dates for my bookmarks will work. I think my back up file of the bookmarks was on the same hardrive that is corrupted. Is there any way to recover my bookmarks?

on any youtube.nl/(channels, video ,login ect ) i get a SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT vorgetting the website tryed and din't work, delleting the cash din't work, delleting all memorey din't work, vers monzilla firefox insall din't work

I am running 2 versions of firefox for Mac. I am running 49.0.2 due to needing to use some add ons that are more stable with 49.0.2. However, even though I have turned on the bookmarks toolbar, I can't add websites to the toolbar. When I try to drag a website to the toolbar, that vertical icon appears--the one that appears when you have multiple bookmarks on the toolbar and are re-ordering them--but the icon only appears on the far left of the bookmarks toolbar. And nothing happens when I attempt to drag a website there. Please see attached screenshot. Thank you!!

I've got a PC on which Firefox 42.0 is installed.

I would like to update the 42.0 vesion on that PC. After clicking on the "Check for update" button in the "About Firefox" menu, I got a message that it can be updated to version 43.0.1.

Why not newer versions?

PS:

I couldn't use version 40.2 to post this question because when I clicked on the "None of these solves my problem" button, version 40.2 crashed. So I used version 49.0 on the same PC instead.

Version 42.0 also crashes when I click on "Troubleshooting information" under the Hep menu.

That computer does not support windows xp and won't open emails so told if I load 52ESR (not higher/quantum) that it will support it. If correct, how can I get it on a drive to put on another computer. I don't want it to download onto this alternate computer as it will likely mess it up. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

For many years, opening "about:" (without quotes, of course) URL in Firefox displayed a page with logo, version, user-agent, etc. But after upgrading from 58.0.2 to 59.0.2, I get an "Invalid URL" error when trying to open this page. Is this some bug or it was intentionally removed?

PS: about:mozilla, about:robots, etc work fine, problem only with about:

using XP Pro and the computer will go like a continuous loop with any higher version above 49.0.2 , it is running service pack 3.

When it hands and you go to task manager the icon comes up that the CPU is running 100%, the two other XP Pro laptops I have  dell latitude 620 and insprion 1100 do not have this problem and will accept the .esr versions.
