I keep getting annoying popups claiming to be from Mozilla Firefox. clicking on one takes me to a malicious website. Dismissing them only results in new ones opening. I am attaching a sample of a screen showing the popups on the right. I scanned for viruses and was told my computer is clean.

How can I stop this from happening?

I reinstalled windows, installed firefox and signed in but my bookmarks (toolbar) have not sync'd, I have bookmarks toolbar set to always show, and my android phone has firefox installed and the bookmarks are there, they just will not sync to my pc, whats up?

I am having an issue where my browser does not show the webpage title or website name when it returns results. I haven't changed anything about my browser recently and I'm really unsure of what is going on. Any advice to fix this would be appreciated.

Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

Now and then, I'm able to log in successfully. lately though, I'm having trouble logging in using Firefox browser.

This is becoming very frustrating. What could be the issue? What do i need to do to resolve the problem?

I am having Firefox crash on startup much like Firefox Desktop crashing on startup, initially in version 140, but I have downgraded to version 139 in my troubleshooting and I'm getting the same symptom.

It is frustrating that this does not seem to leave any records in the Windows event log or the Firefox crash reports, and that the fact that there's a known issue of this severity is rather hard to find.

I am trying to set up a vpn using Proton as a Firefox add-in but Firefox won't let me use it, saying it has invalid credentials. I can't contact Proton because if I enable it as an add-in to Firefox, I can't use my browser. Do you know of any other vpn networks that work securely with Firefox?

Firefox is the default browser on my Dell Inspiron laptop which runs Windows 11 Pro. I have several bookmarks in my bookmarks manager that I'd like to copy to my desktop; how do I do that?

There is no customization panel under settings/home. can you please tell me where can i find the customization panel? I want to reset the wallpaper to default.

so in the top right there is "Finish setup", i have marked all things, beside "Import previous browser"... the problem is.... what previous browser?... it is a fresh installed system, i have no file to import, and for whatever reason i can not skip it, which doesn't make sense... cuz firefox works without those imports... so why do i get forced to import them... i do not have anything... the annyoing part it... when i click on it, firefox says something "couldn't find files"... which sould be a deead giveaway that i don't have any, it it just should move one... i tired to disable it in about:config, i tried to edit ~/.mozilla, did not work... i just have that super annyoing text at the top, where i have zero change of removing.... why don't you just add a "skip button"... is taht to much to ask?

literally what the [expletive] was the thought process in making it so that when u import all ur passwords from a csv it AUTOMATICALLY DELETES "DUPLICATES" WITHOUT CHECKING AT ALL WHICH ONE IS CORRECT. I HAVE SO MANY [expletive] PASSWORDS THAT ARE WRONG BECAUSE UR [expletive] BROWSER DOESNT ALLOW ME TO [expletive] MANUALLY CHANGE THAT STUPID OPTION. I have a specific website that I have active in FireFox called myNoise.net. It allows me to generate background noise generators to cover-up the distracting noises from my neighbours when working at home on my desktop computer. The audio on the website worked the last time I opened Firefox ~2 July ... but today, when I opened the browser, the audio no longer works. I cannot get the website audio to load at all - I added the website to additional exception lists & shut down some content blocking extensions, but no joy. The website was already listed in multiple exception lists & I do not know or understand what change(s) occurred with the browser that would prevent this site from properly functioning - since it literally worked a week ago. I would appreciate any assistance and/or guidance with this issue, otherwise I will be eliminating Firefox as one of my browser options. I have provided a screenshot of the site that shows the perpetual "now loading" screen. Thank you.

Alternative search engines no longer appear when typing the stasrt of a search. Am able to set alternative search engine in settings but need to go back to settings if I want to use another one. This happened after a recent update - perhaps as much as a week ago.

When using Firefox in fullscreen mode (via F11) on Windows or Linux, moving the mouse to the top reveals the tab and address bar. but this causes the page content below to shrink temporarily.

In comparison, Chromium-based browsers handle this differently: their tab and address bars appear as overlays, without disturbing the layout or causing any viewport resize. This results in a more immersive and fluid fullscreen experience.

Please consider implementing a similar overlay behavior in Firefox's fullscreen mode, or at least providing a toggle via about:config to allow users to choose between current behavior and overlay-style tab reveal.
