The fucking forced dark mode has return despite the previous fix layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1 in about:config fixing it for years. This and the current replacement fixes don't save. I want a solution for PERMANENT light mode (black text on white background) for ALL menus, pop-ups, dropdown menus and hover over tab info.

And don't tell me to go search for a different theme I've already spent hours doing that and firefox has broken them only making some menus use the appropriate mode. On top of that I can't even pick an option to search for one that uses light mode I just have to go through each one and try it if I want to know which mode it uses that is NOT a solution to anything.

Replacement "fixes" for reference: ui.systemUsesDarkTheme won't even let me set to 0 only has true/false browser.theme.content-theme set to 1 browser.theme.toolbar-theme set to 1 (Why in the absolute hell these were added when a simple addition to preference setting wasn't is beyond me)

Very sorry for the aggressiveness but I am so very VERY tired of having to fight firefox on this preferance for years when their dark mode hurts my eyes.

I have installed the LastPass extension for Firefox, more than once, but the LastPass icon does not appear in my browser bar. It used to be there, but disappeared a few weeks ago. I have tried to reinstall the extension, but it has had no effect.

I have been told by my bank that firefox wants their customers who are having a problem with the website when using firefox to contact firefox directly. How do I do that? I have wasted way too much time trying to find that contact information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was told my bank that there has been an issue with firefox since the last upgrade. I can sign into my account, but if I try to do anything or click on anything, the site locks up and I can not do anything except for sign out. They told me that it was on your end and that you needed customers to reach out. It's becoming frustrating that I can't use firefox for this application. I can get into my account and do what needs to be done with other browsers. What can you do on your end. The bank is Mission Federal Credit Union. Thank you! I am unable to use my bill pay with my bank using Firefox browser. However, I am able to use it logging on with Microsoft Edge. What has changed with Firefox recently? This has only become a problem as of today.

Please add features so that the recently visited page during the Firefox shortcut does not apply to the shortcut list. I only want to see a fixed shortcut on the shortcut page Even the pages I recently visited have been added to the shortcut, so I have to remove them daily. It's so inconvenient.

I've been browsing the web looking for a way to access the browser's current profile name programmatically. I'm writing a little browser extension that should run code conditionally depending on what the current profile is. I'm wondering if there's any way to do this? The closest thing I found was runtime.getBrowserInfo() runtime.getBrowserInfo().

On a LIvestream I'm getting an UNDEFINED error code I've cleared cookies but the problem continued I don't know how to clear if it's on you end or the web site I use to be able to beat it before it appears not it will not let me watch any shows at all

When I go to linkedin.com, it gets stuck on the loading screen and never progresses to a usable site. It worked fine on August 22nd but was broken on the 23rd, and I don't think anything on my end updated overnight. I haven't noticed an issue on any other websites. Is there a way to fix this?

• Works fine on safari and chrome.
• No change when I disable adblockers.
• Restarting firefox did not fix it.
• Deleting cookies and clearing the cache did not fix it.

I work heavily in a site called Xactanalysis for work. This is a product by Xactware that is used for tracking, reporting and uploading estimates for insurance claims. They have released a reporting tool recently within Xactanalysis, and the issue is I cannot use with Firefox browser. This works with Chrome, however I would prefer to use Firefox.

I have entered the website address in the exceptions page, but still won't work. When asking Xactware for assistance they said manage the exceptions and it should work. This still doesn't seem to work, so I am curious if there is anything else I can do?

For a few months now I've been having issues uploading firmware files to my QNAP server's website. I was trying to update the firmware, but it wouldn't allow the file to even be uploaded. Would just get a general "error" with no help.

This past week a started having issues with 7digital.com not allowing me to download zipped music files. It kept giving an error about the oauth token not being passed through. (Error: Authorization failed for method <GET> and URL <http://media.geo.7digital.com/media/user/download/release>. Missing oauth_consumer_key)

Finally figured out that this is only happening in Firefox, Brave browser and other Chrome based browsers don't have the issue.

I've tried turning off the tracking and download protection in settings, but it didn't help. So, what's causing it?

Using Firefox 128.0.3 (64-bit) on Linux (NixOS).

I've been having issues with media playback on firefox.

Almost any video source that isn't from youtube cannot play in firefox, giving the error: "No Video with supported format and MIME type found"

Testing the same video on Chromium has no problems.

Using Fedora Linux on an AMD system. And Fedora Flatpak build.

System specs below if required.

Any idea to get this up and running would be really appreciated. I think I already installed the propriety media codecs for fedora since the problem isn't showing up on chromium it looks like a firefox issue.

I received a notice when trying to download : We can't connect to server at downloadzip.wolfgangsvault.com . It was suggested that I check that Firefox has permission to access the web ( I might be connected but behind a firewall). Please help . Thanks!

Westpac keep telling me it is the fault of my browser. While I was trying safe mode, deleting the cookies and cache etc. I came across this bit of odd information -

Westpac have been telling me for two months that it is Firefox's fault, but I don't see how, given that it has always worked before. Finding this data makes me think the problem is Westpac's fault but they just keep saying the same old thing - use another browser. Well I don't want to! I have visual difficulties and my Firefox is heavily customised to account for that.

What is actually happening is that when I enter my information on the log In Page: https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=login&logout=false then click on the sign in button the screne goes white like it is going to log in and then the sign in page comes back up without the information I had entered.

Is there any thing you can do to help me?

Starting yesterday, 10 Aug, I can't sign into Kaiser Permanente. Never had this problem before. Message is:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

This is the second important site with sign in problems. Can you cut whatever you are dong out so I can visit kp.org, and bank of america? I can sign in fine on all the other browsers just fine. Includes Brave, Chrome and Edge.

I looked this problem up, and the nonsense given to fix this problem is impossible to follow as it must be old. What shall I do, just avoid using this browser? This has been my base browser for years. Perhaps it is time to make a change.

This is the message I get from Rakuten: "Your ad blocker is working too hard! To earn Cash Back at Samsung, disable your ad blocker and refresh this page." I want Rakuten to send me to the Samsung site as I am interested in buying something there.

I am in a dialogue with someone on this Mozilla site, and trying to explain my problem. I don't know if the problem is that Rakuten is being blocked from sending me to the Samsung site or Samsung is being blocked. (Rakuten is a site that has arrangements with many companies who give discounts to customers.)

Some sites stopped opening, although in other browsers, and through the phone everything opens up. I've tried reinstalling the browser, disabling extensions, resetting DNS. It didn't help. In Chrome he working. Sites like youtube twitch and other poplar working too, idk why firefox have problem, maybe its new update?

The E*Trade analyst research tab does not display properly with text appearing over top of other text, strange numbers, and certain links inactivated. See attached example screenshots showing issues (yellow highlighting with Firefox) and proper display (green highlighting with Chrome). Thanks!
