My browser this afternoon updated to 112.0.1. Prior to the upgrade I was watching 9now.com.au. Post the upgrade the 9now pages will no longer show the controls or login boxes.
login.nine.com.au now shows a complete white page.
Devtools indicates there are almost no network queries being issued in comparison to edge.
To test I spun up a VM that had firefox 111.0 installed with the above web site working. I let firefox upgrade to 112.0.1 and it stopped functioning again. I downgraded to 111.0 again and everything works again. Seems 112.0.1 is breaking it.

When I go to certain web sites, (Xfinity, Blue Cross Blue Shield), a message pops up saying, "This page is slowing down Fire Fox. To speed up your browser, stop this page". When I go into Safe Mode, I can get to those sites. How can I get rid of this message/problem? Fire Fox has current update as does my Mac.

I'm enrolled in multiple classes at teachable.com and they both use my email, however, the classes are VERY different and I need two separate passwords. Firefox said NO. Is there a way to have two passwords using the same email address? I did try to log in when I signed up for the second course and it did not recognize my email address. The sign in process for the first site is slightly different and goes through the instructor's site, and then through teachable.com. My password for the first class is stored on Firefox under teachable...and I've emailed myself the password to the second class until I can resolve this. I thought there would be a comment field or something to differentiate the two courses. Please help. Many thanks!

I want to: - Delete cookies, logins and cache of all not specifically allowed websites when closing the browser - Automatically delete the browser history of anything thats older than 'n' days or entries - Preferably do this without having to use an addon
I have set places.history.expiration.max_pages, however even on a really low value it does not seem to delete any older items from the history.
For deleting cookies and cache I have a problem understanding how the 2 sections in the settings interact (Cookies and Site Data and History) and how I would manage to delete everything except the whitelisted cookies.

All non-Firefox web pages (40+) are in DARK mode. (Black background, etc.). While I used to prefer this, I have found that some websites have information that doesn't show up. So, I need to revert to standard Light Mode for websites. So, I have confirmed on my PC: - Windows 10 settings are set to Light Mode. - Firefox Appearance Settings are set to Light. - Firefox Themes have Light Mode selected and enabled.
The Result: - All my Firefox webpages and Settings, etc., follow the Firefox settings. If I change the Theme, for example, they all follow. - Non-Firefox webpages (40+) do NOT change. With all the above: No impact. They remain Dark, with black backgrounds. Rebooting doesn't change anything.
Somehow, I previously changed a prior computer having the same issue. I don't remember what I discovered (hidden) that did the trick. I remember it wasn't the Theme option. (PLEASE fix this, so that THEMES over-ride).
I have my Firefox accounts Synced (on several computers and phone). Is this a root of my problem?
Please assist.
Thank you.
Craig

I've only just recently had this issue: If I'm not already in full screen mode on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.3.1), then I can enter and exist YouTube's full screen mode just fine. But if I'm already in full screen mode with the browser, then after going full screen with a YouTube video I can't exit. I can exit the full screen window, but then the video stays in full screen with no menu bar available etc. Instead I have to close Firefox and open again. See the attached image - I can change the size of the window but only the video screen appears. I can still use shortcuts (ctrl+tab) to navigate tabs etc.

Lockwise on My iPhone 13 forgot my login and asked for a password for some reason. As I have turned on 2-step verification it asked for the code from Google Authenticator. However this code was not accepted and I had to use one of my recovery codes. Now I am logged in and would love to disable the 2-step verification, as it does not work, but there is no such option in the app.

I have the bookmarks set to "always show" on my macbook, and there is no issue with the bookmarks when in window mode, but when fullscreen they disappear :( Additionally, when I set firefox in windows mode, there is a white bar at the top that does not leave. In the middle of the FF home page, the search box functions normally, but not on a new tab page. The box is fake and typing automatically goes to the address bar. I changed the setting in about:preferences#search to "Add search bar in toolbar." That resulted in adding a 2" search bar to the right of the address bar with a TINY font. VERY difficult to see.
Next in about:config, I switched this to false: "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar ". But, that didn't fix it.
An article on askvg.com said to do the above, but to do it in FF's NIGHTLY. To get the search box to function in the center of the page, will I have to install Firefox Nightly alongside my normal Firefox Release and fix it there? Then will it sync over to my regular FF and fix it? Or, is there another way?

I've got this weird behavior happening where if my window is closed from maximize, which saves the browser's size, and I open it, it will first open in maximize then size down to the same size.
In other words, Firefox will always open the window to a specific size regardless of what it was when I closed it. This is extremely annoying.
Is this part of resisting fingerprinting? This is some unusual behavior that I haven't seen Firefox do before ever.
I can provide a little video if my explanation wasn't clear.
