Firefox is crashing for me pretty consistently. It was happening with a significant amount of time in between each one but has escalated to the point where it is happening once every few minutes now. I have checked for updates and ran Firefox in troubleshoot mode. There are no updates available for me, and it still crashed in troubleshoot mode. My most recent crash report is bp-462fb540-28d6-4d0c-8007-6428d0251028. I am running Pop!os and recently did a firmware update, so I am wondering if that is where the problem is originating from since I had no issues with Firefox prior to that update.

Hello. I had been experiencing a lot of freezes, hang ups, and disconnectivity with crash messages asking me to either restart Firefox, or quit firefox ! I finally just recently downloaded again from your website and in order to function it defaulted to Safe Mode. How do I correct this ? Note: The website is currently operational but not at 100% ! When in Settings nothing can be done and it advises that it's because it's in Safe Mode ! How do I correct this ?

Every day when I try to open a new tab in Firefox, whether by link or directly, I get the error message "Gah, Your tab just crashed." I have used Firefox as my primary browser for 10 years. If I reboot the computer this solves the problem, but I am not going to do this every day. All the other browsers work. This just started five days ago and I made no changes to Firefox. Help!

I wanted to report that Firefox froze or crashed. I could not close it and had to Endtask it. I am running the latest version supposedly on Windows 11. Why did this occur?

Mozilla Firefox began to crash all the time; crashes happen almost every ten minutes, and it happens with every site. It still lasts about for several weeks. I tried to reinstall Firefox; I updated my drivers for my computer; I cleared cash and history in the settings; I tried to delete some files from Firefox's folder. All these things did not help. The crashes may happen with any site, and it can happen any time. I have no problem with memory shortage. My system consists of Ryzen 7 5800x, Radeon RX 7800 XT and G.Skill Flare X (for AMD) DDR4 2x16Gb.

Hello, since about 2 months, my Firefox stops working: message "not working", now it becomes very frequent, almost each day. What is happening and how I can solve the problem? Thanks for help in advance. Theo Köppen@gmail.com

OK, I have never had this happen with Firefox before but it will just freeze, then do nothing then Explorer will crash, every time. I have no idea why its doing this, my drivers are all up to date, Windows is up to date and theres no viruses on my PC. Its annoying.

Why is this browser crashing after a couple of downloads using the extensions for youtube downloader?i have youtube premium but when i download tunes so i can mix them after roughly 15 mins i have to force quit Firefox ?

Firefox began crashing a few days ago and has crashed during each log in and use today. Most recently trying to download and print documents. I have disabled all extensions, have text file of the Third=Party modules and Submitted Crash Reports.

This morning, Firefox updated automatically to Firefox 144. However, this update completely broke Firefox; every tab crashed, and I couldn't even use Firefox to get to this help site.

Changing my OS is not an option for me; those decisions are made far, far away. I was allowed to use Firefox instead of Chrome. Sadly, I have to switch over to Chrome today in order to work.  :(

Just over a week ago, I found that a particular page transition always crashed by browser tab (i.e. a reproducible crash). This occurred on the Quora.com website when visiting the 'Questions' tab for any Quora Space. I am not aware of anything special associated with this operation, and it works OK in Chrome. There may be other cases -- outside of that particular website -- but that is the one most affecting me at the moment.

There are no associated Windows events logged. I checked about:crashes and the Crash Report folder but i cannot find any readable details.

If I refresh the page then the transition occurs without problem.

I would like to find the cause myself because I am on an Windows 7 64-bit ESR version, although I do not believe this is an ESR issue as it was working fine a couple of weeks ago. it is just that I cannot find any logged information on the cause.

I GOT TIRED OF FREQUENT FIREFOX CRASHES (C0000005) IN BOTH THE 64-BIT AND 32-BIT DESKTOP VERSIONS. I HAVE BEEN USING THE 64-BIT VERSION IN WINDOWS 11 (I HAVE A HIGH-END SAGER LAPTOP WITH 32GB RAM. I INSTALLED THE FREQUENT FIREFOX UPDATES BUT THE PROBLEN PERSISTED EVER SINCE VERSIONS 42X WERE RELEASED. I TRIED THE 32-BIT VERSION BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. FINALLED, I TRIED THE DEVELOPER VERSION: NO MORE CRASHES! I READ THE RESPONSES FROM YOUR CLUELESS STAFF TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME TROUBLE. THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS ERROR; THIS IS A FIREFOX APPLICATION ERROR. MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FIREFOX DEVELOPER CODERS SHOULD ASSIST THE 32-BIT AND 64-BIT DEVELOPERS. OR, DUMP THE VERSION 4X CODE AND BUILD ON THE MORE STABLE 39X CODE. ALSO, DON'T BLAME WINDOWS FOR FIREFOX APPLICATION ERRORS. AND...NEVER SUGGEST A WINDOWS REINSTALL FOR FIREFOX ERRORS!!!

WHY CAN'T YOU FIX YOUR BUGGY BROWSERS??? LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO OPERA OR EDGE NOW!!! STOP C0000005 ERRORS! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW YOU'VE MESSED UP A ONCE-GOOD BROWSER!
