Hello--I am using 130.0.1. Now there is a "tmp[xx]" with a large black dot at the right end of the address bar. The number [xx] changes for each tab. Whazzup with this, and what does it mean?

Firefox now asks for primary password every time it starts even if it is not needed to access a site with a saved password. Removing and resetting primary password does not fix the problem.

Firefox is my preferred browser. Lately however, I cannot log into my online banking account with PNC. When I insert my PNC log-in information...username and password.....I get a tab that reads "Challenge Validation" and the browser window says "Not Found". Just as an fyi, if I switch to Google Chrome I can log-in to my PNC online account.

Any help or suggestions to be able to use Firefox???

Firefox freezes intermittently, and when I examine the situation with Windows' Task Manager, I see a large number of Firefox threads active while I have only two tabs in use, and memory usage running rapidly up to the 50-70% range (I have 16 GB). While I'm not qualified, it seems there may be a memory leak issue. The situation clears itself after a just few or a few tens of seconds, but then may recur within a minute or so. This started a few weeks ago, now happens almost daily and is making Firefox, my preferred browser, somewhat unusable.

My system: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 10 Pro OS Build 19045.4842 Firefox Version 115? VPN Windscribe Version 2.10.16

I have auto fill password turned on, yet Firefox NEVER fills in the password, or my e-mail. Each and ever time I have to type it in, Firefox asks to save or update, I say yes, and password and e-mail are saved, yet the next I go to that site I have to type it in manually. I see the password and e-mail are saved accurately yet no auto-fill why?

This has been going on for about a week now. I use the google chat/messenger portion thats built into the Gmail website.

I can paste pics, drag and drop, etc, it all seems fine. I can see the thumbnail versions in the chat. People can send me as well. The problem is once I click any, it normally puts a small darkening filter over the back ground and then does a fullscreen view of the image. in this case it just loads forever.

If I right click and try to open in a new tab I get an odd Error 403 message, Your client does not have permission to get URL /chat_attachment/ and then a long string of characters.

Ive tried the usual, updated, rebooted, etc. Even in FFox safe mode to rule out extensions. Still not working.

FFox 131.0, Windows 11 23H2.

I have tried to log into my google accounts on the browser, but everytime I press the sign in button on the google homepage, it takes me to google's "clear cache" website. However, signing in works normally on a private window. I have tried clearing my cache multiple times and it keeps taking me back to the cache page.

I would like to report a new issue I am experiencing and am unsure whether it originates from Firefox or LinkedIn. Specifically, the upper ribbon on LinkedIn is no longer visible when using Firefox (see arrows in the attached images), whereas it displays correctly on Chrome. I have attached two images: one from Chrome and the other from Firefox for comparison.

Could this issue be addressed from your side?

I submitted help before you all were great to help with Firefox GPO as I am looking for a way no show saved passwords and I tired the password manager as suggested and that is okay, but not ideal.

So, digging deeper into this, I found 2 settings, 1 I found in the GPO that I have enabled that Firefox sees it set to True but is not working, the other I have not found in the GPO and wanted to know if anyone knew how to perhaps request is for the GPO?

The GPO feature "Do not allow passwords to be revealed in saved logins" I have enabled but is not actually working on Firefox, my other settings from the GPO all work including auto install Firefox, no credit cards and other settings. but the Eyeball for show passwords is still there despite this and even with a gpupdate/force still nothing and not sure what to do to make it work as the 1 feature that is not working, any thoughts?

The option I can't find or wonder if it's not in the GPO and could be added is the highlighted on in my picture of "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" like you have to by default on Chrome and Edge. This enabled by default and or a way to force it via GPO would be great to have if anyone knows where it is or where I can go to ask to add it in an update.

i've been using JetInsight.com for more than 18 months. it is bookmarked. suddenly, it will not operate in firefox. it used to automatically log me in, now it asks for a login, but never even gets past that to ask for a passwork.

this website continues to work in chrome, safari and edge, on the same PC as well as my other devices (ipad, iphone) - but not with firefox. no other website, bookmarked or otherwise has this issue. i've cleared all cookies and history. nothing has fixed this.

Hi, I cannot upload files to any website. For example if I hit add attachment to an email which is open on Mozilla nothing happens. It's the same if I try to upload a resume or a photo for example. I can drag and drop files to upload but some websites don't have that option. I have disabled the pop up blocker and nothing changed. It was the same when I was using chrome and I transferred the data and settings over. Could someone please advise?

I have faced lots of times this problem. When I go to visit any new tab or new site in Google then captcha comes in front of me, after that, I fill in the captcha but the problem is not solved, it will take 15-20 minutes to go to my visiting pages, it's too much time-consuming. Please solve this problem.

Dear All,

I need to uninstall Firefox silently from several computers, due to company restrictions. Uninstall must be silent (automatic), because I push the uninstall from Microsoft InTune.

At this stage, using "-ms" or "/S", I can bypass the normal uninstaller prompt, but I still get a Windows warning (from User Access Control), asking autorisation to perform changes on the device.

Can I bypass this prompt as well, so that the uninstall is indeed automatic and silent?

Alternatively do you know of means to modify this at Windows level?

Good afternoon colleagues  have  a challenge when  visit website for library genesis http://libgen.rs/ to download a book  get the above response what can be the solution to get around this issue?Have tried in other browsers microsoft edge,chrome similar thing.
