I can't download ANYTHING on Firefox I've been tempted to switch to Chrome again because of this like why can I not download I don't THINK I did anything wrong either and it's really becoming frustrating I'm sorry

For some months now when I click on a video that is on a news website, such as The Guardian or The BBC for example, the video screen goes black and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Hello there,

I'm a relatively new adopter of Firefox so please bear with me.

First off let me say that my Brother Printer is working fine. Word documents as well as non-PDF documents print correctly and cleanly from 3rd party applications as well as Firefox. That is until I open up a PDF document and attempt to print it and see: "Printer in an error state." Clearing out the print cue and or restarting the printer, does nothing to resolve this issue.

Digging into my system (Windows 11) everything appears fine, drivers are up-2-date, and all other applications that can use the printer do so without issue. Briefly re-installing Chrome, I'm able to print the PDF without issue. Which strongly suggests that this is an issue native to the Firefox browser. Odds are if I'm seeing this issue, loads of other users are as well.

Every time I carry out a search (on Google or on DuckDuckGo), after I have my Google or DDG results I find a tab has been created with Britannica offering a result for the search. I never installed Britannica and I don't want it to appear - I want to remove Britannica from my system altogether. But I don't have a Britannica app in my Settings list of apps and I never intstalled it. It's like a virus. Can anybody help me to get rid of it?

The subject is "Effective Communication" or "Troubleshooting," specifically highlighting the importance of being descriptive when reporting issues or problems, such as with video playback on YouTube.

I am 82 years old and have Essential Tremor. I am on medications but my hands still shake enough to give me problems with your audio volume sliders.

Is there a way to make the audio volume sliders wider?

If not, there should be.

I think is so nice this idea to put the IA assistance for research and study for college and programming for me. A have a question if is possible add another IA like: Copilot (Microsoft) or Deepseek.

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

I thought it was an issue with my pc, but chrome does not have this issue and neither do other applications. I have tried clearing my cache and cookies as well as ensuring mozilla was using my computer performance settings as opposed to hardware acceleration. The attached images are a very small example of the issue. Typically, after clicking on the screen or pressing a button the text is corrected but often replaced with new text being "corrupted". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After the recent update, the buttons on the url-bar-search for searching in bookmarks, tabs or search engine, are gone and turned into a drop down. This kinda sucks. the buttons were perfectly fine; one-click.

Any way to get the buttons back?
