I'm attempting to sync my account between a Windows host and a Linux host. Logging into my account on Linux brings up a "Authorize this sign-in" window that demands entry of a 7-char "Authorization Code" (not the same as a six-digit authentication code) which is emailed to me. After entering the authorization code, a window appears stating "Bad request - Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again." This happens consistently, and only on the Linux host. Firefox 134.0.2 mint-001 1.0. Linux Mint 22.1. Any ideas about what went wrong?

TWO STEP VERIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY FORCED ON ONE OF MY COMPUTERS

AND FIREFOX DOES NOT "REMEMBER" WHEN SIGNED IN EVEN THOUGH CHECKED AT SIGNIN

WHEN I VIEW MY SETTINGS,,,,TWO STEP COMES BACK AS DISABLED.....BUT THATS INACCURATE ?? HOW CAN I DISABLE THE FORCED TWOSTEM FEATURE ON THIS SINGLE COMPUTER ??

i AM SICK OF THIS. eVERYTHING i HAVE ALREADY IS PROTECTED. i DO NOT NEED fIREFOX BLOCKING ME OR SENDING MESSAGES TO A PHONE THAT IS DOWNSTAIRS. do YOU KNOW HOW IRRITATING THIS> i GUESS IT IS TIME TO FIRE YOU AND FIND ANOTHER BROWSER THAT IS NOT DISRUPTING MY LIFE.

I have a fingerprint scanner and a slot for a security key, but I have never used a security key, either in the slot or a USB plugin.

When I try to go to Gmail, I enter my gmail address, and then Firefox pops up a screen wanting me to insert my security key, and there are no buttons to change how I verify my identity.

I've hunted all around for what setting in Firefox is causing it, but no luck so far. Ideas?

I have been stuck for 3 days now and tried everything to get pass the authentication process.

I want to submit an Add on. On my profile page, 2 step authentication is enabled.

When i click submit new add-on, i am directed to the Enable two-step authentication page anyway. So ok i'll do that:

"Scan authentication code to continue to ⁨Add-ons⁩"

So i use google authenticator. And im able to continue.

Then im presented with "Save backup authentication codes", so i download them and store them.

PROBLEM:

On the next page, in need to "Confirm backup authentication code". ANY code i try, that was given to me in the previous step, doesn't work.

Error: There was a problem confirming your backup authentication code.

• not using caps or whatever
• no spaces in there
• tried all the codes
• tried different browsers
• The time and date are correct on both phone and windows 10

I have NO clue what to do anymore. I can't get passed it. Can someone please advice. (see screenshots)

I want to be receiving notification like when I reset my password I don't receive the code of resetting a password you know okay a lot like signing in receiving a notification

I recently bought a new laptop and am trying to sink my current mozilla browser with the new computer. However I can't seem to get an authentication code and don't know where/if I saved Mozilla backup codes. please help1

How do i stop having to type in 6 letters when signing in now. This is new and I'd like to stop it for EVERY time I open Firefox. Once a week would be fine! Thanks

This is common lately. On a website they say we will send you an email to validate your email. This was with Costco for one. I click in the box so they can send me an email, then I go look and there is no email. Tried many times to no avail. Other websites too, like, click the save 10% coupon then we will send it to your email entered on the website. No email received. By the way it doesn't seem to be a pop up blocker issue.

How do i set fire fox to know and sent verification that this computer is the one i have log in to the site before i keep having to verifier it is me every time i log in to the site
