При заходе на сайте ya.ru и если на нём имеется строка с видео или поиск с алисой, то начинаются сильные фризы. Это ошибка именно в firefox 142, проверенно.

Firefox crashes whenever it would need access to my camera or microphone. So far it has only happened whn trying to access a Roll20 game with camera and microphone connectivity, and when trying to access a video appointment for Universal Credit. It never happened on Windows 10, but since updating to Windows 11 it happens every time without fail, and the crash is immediate.

Presently 142.0.1 (64-bit) installed; previous updates/downloads had no problems.

Now, however, going to https://www.firefox.com/en-US/?utm_campaign=SET_DEFAULT_BROWSER and attempt a download results in this (image).

Any solution to this?

i was trying to check my apparmor stuff because of the warning on Linux. Now i tried duck.ai to instruct me , but created more damage than anything else. It said to set firefox in enforcement mode, now it wont start (well im using Firefox right now in complain mode)

How do I fix this problem that everything runs normally and safe?

Whhhhyyyyyy am I suddenly unable to access certain parts of the Delta.com website?? I had no problem with the website re my outbound flight and now I can't access any info on my return flight on their "flight details" page. They had to send me a screenshot of what they had on their screen because I cannot get it on my own screen. I was customizing my background by loading a picture. It's adult in nature. It should be my computer in my in my private home. When something amazing started happening. If I load ANY image with a naked woman on it After a few minutes Fire fox auto removes it. I have done this 30 times. I use ANY fire fox picture it's fine stays there forever. Load ANY picture with a naked woman on it and poof 2 minutes later it's gone. So please can you explain to me why whats claimed to be the most private and secure browser around is censoring me in my own home about what backgrounds I can have? I find this highly disturbing. And I am quite serious I have had them removed at least 30 times. I'm 56 y/o If I want a naked woman on my background it should be my business not fire foxes. Also no chrome is not doing it. neither is windows. It's Firefox removing them. Any explanation would be nice.

I started to notice recently that calendars in some websites I browse with Mozilla are inaccurate. The dates like months, days,... are in a mess. Then I used Google Chrome instead of Mozilla and it went right. It was accurate with Chrome browsing those sites. Did you hear of the same problems with Mozilla ? What can be wrong ?

When I do "save as " action for an image in the browser it opens dialogue window to save selected image. Unfortunately it displays files and folders in some random order, rather than my preferred order (sorted alphabetically by name, followed by sorting by type).

I can see no rhyme or reason to the way Firefox lists files and folders in the dialogue window, so every time I am saving an image I have to sort things by name and type before I can find what I want.

This is not permanent so I have to repeat this action every time I save an image.

How do I, please set application preferences? to make this setting permanent?

For some reason all of a sudden my bookmarks don't show their identification icons that are associated with that web site. Those icons are to the immediate left of the site address. I used to use those colored icons as a quick reference to select the web site I wanted. Being I have MANY bookmarks, those icons to the left weer a GREAT help to locating a specific bookmark.

   How do I get my bookmarks to show the way they used to show before? Is there a way to show my bookmarks to a earlier date? Maybe that way my bookmarks will show the way they used to ?
   Can someone please help. This new bookmark menu listing I now see is not user friendly! Thank you.

Ubuntu - I use the SNAP version of Firefox - I generally have lots of tabs open but only use 5 or so of them and it's generally fine.... but when I am closing Firefox, it USES like 100% of the CPU and ALL of the RAM and ALL of the SWAP memory when closing.

This locks up the computer.

Sometimes it doesn't quite go all the way but I can watch it all happen in real time, using Task Manager - and that shows a solidwall of all resources occouring, when the close Firefox is run.

I am told by research via ChatGPT that this is a very real problem with the SNAP version and it's best to change to the Debian version, copy all the bookmarks etc., across and then uninstall the SNAP version.

It's rather disconcerting to have Linux crash because of this one app locking it up and frequently.

For a while now firefox has been unable to enter fullscreen when pressing F11. Instead all it does is move the "Scroll forwards", "Open a new tab", and "List all tabs" button over slightly (The buttons on the top right, next to the minimize and close buttons).

I don't know what's going on with firefox.

I have contacted Microsoft. After testing the link/page loads in Edge, Chome (with and without addins same in ff) and Brave. But does not load in FF (with addon's disabled) nor in Private browsing FF (no addins obviously) they said to reach out to FireFox for support.
