Firefox is not saving my passwords. Every time I start up my laptop, all the saved passwords are gone. I have tried a refresh and a new install as well, but the problem persists. I have to sync to my other machine to restore them.

I use FF on desktop. Recently, I've run into a problem. My desktop browser will not load any pages... except Youtube. Youtube loads just fine, I can open a video or browse channels or community pages normally. I have fully reset my browser, reinstalled it, and disabled extensions. Other browsers on my PC will work normally. I have very few extensions: Sponsorblock for Youtube, uBlock Origin, and Facebook Container, that's it. I am not using a proxy or VPN. Troubleshoot mode did not fix the issue. I'm not the most tech savvy, so I apologize if I missed anything here.

latest version of firefox will not let me save a password on a new website, it has always worked before, see image for settings. website is not included in exceptions

I am worried.

For some reason I am not logged into one of my local pages - which needs a log in.

So I go to the "settings" and go to privacy and to the "saved passwords".

This takes me to another screen (see attached) and no matter how many times I press the "LOG IN" (near the top) nothing happens.

I keep losing my passwords in Firefox. I attempt to save a password withe the drop down menu, after checking I see that it is save but a short time later the password is no longer there! I have all the box's checked to save passwords but again they are no longer there! Any help would be most appreciated, Thank you T Wolf

Unbeknownst to myself, I have been using Firefox for the greater part of a year without formally signing in. I've had a Mozilla account for some time, so I simply logged in and thought nothing of it. A few days later I tried to fetch a password for a service I use and noticed that all of my passwords were gone. I've tried going to about:profiles and trying both profiles listed, with no luck. I've checked my Desktop for any file dump, but no luck there either. Any advice would be appreciated!

password fail using fire fox yet again- why?

I see very poor answers (lack of ui/userinterface and just plain lack of human factors for this problem.

UI/HF engineers can explain things so easy, but not here!

After the latest update to Firefox (154.0.1) on Linux Mint, I discovered that ALL my passwords have been deleted. I recreated them and the next day they were missing again. I've been a faithful Firefox user since its early days. It was a good run but this is unacceptable and I'm going to delete FF and move to another browser. Too bad because I did like FF.

Hi there; I have just read the article about settings on password saving. I am complying with those settings, but yet my logins must be entered constantly, lately. What am I doing wrong? Where do I look next? Thank you.

I have been using Private Browsing to read https://www.dailymail.co.uk for years because it blocks the adds. Now for the second time in years it seems to block a part of the page I don't want it too block. And for the life of me I cant remember if I did something to fix it the first time or Mozilla fixed it. Anyway the problem does not show up in ordinary Firefox but the adds make it so hard to concentrate while they keep flashing on and off all the time. So I have attached two screen shots to show the difference between the two Ordinary & Private. Any ideas very welcome. Thanks. You managed to change my password for accessing AMAZON to a very long password that has never worked so far for the last two months! So, I have been denied a site I use to use regularly and you still deny a human to ask for help, only your jog-related jargon!

I would hate to sue you but AMAZON may help me when they hear what you've done to me, and perhaps hundreds of other former customers.

So, help me get back to AMAZON today!
