I cannot access my credit union's marketing page: "marketing.riograndecu.org" This has been a problem for the past week. I am connected to my home wifi. I repeatedly get this message:

The connection has timed out

The server at marketing.riograndecu.org is taking too long to respond.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

How can I get rid of this?

I get a daily email from this site and suddenly nothing. I try to resolve the issue and your security settings are unintelligible. I have received emails on a daily basis for over 2 years, and now nothing.

This is unbelievably frustrating.

Firefox is preventing me from going to certain websites because it is telling me I am using adblocker but I have none installed.. I am trying to play around with the settings but I still can't do it. Is there an inbuilt adblocker? I need help please...

Hi, just to say, sorry, I’m an absolute idiot, I don’t understand tech at all. I have a VPN, privacy badger and ublock origin. These issues continue whether these three things are turned off or not, so I believe it must be to do with my Firefox settings.

Everything was fine, but now all of the sudden, certain elements of pages will not load.

So for example, today I tried to go to Gizmodo and look at a Star Trek page. Cool. https://gizmodo.com/star-trek-day-announcements-include-a-lego-collaboration-and-a-youtube-kids-series-2000655142

This is not the only site, just an example.

Clicked the comment button to see what people are saying. It won’t load the comments. The comments are completely blocked. They don't exist. When I try to look at the comments, it just shows me another part of the webpage, can't even see the comments.

Thought it was just this site, but then today I was on a plastic surgeon site in Europe to make a payment and it wouldn’t load the payment page.

I tried turning off badger and unblock to make the payment, and it didn’t work.

Honestly I really have no idea what the problem is, I know I’m doing something stupid but I don’t know what it is or how to figure out.

Any help on figuring out what’s going on or where the hiccups for these might be would be welcome.

For about the last month, if I click on a link in an email or on a website that should connect to another website, there's a long delay in reaching that second site. This did not happen before. The delays are intolerable and do not occur on Chrome, for example. I prefer to use Firefox, but I feel I have no choice but to use Chrome instead. Can my issue with Firefox be fixed? When I try to visit a specific journal site that requires authentication, the browser automatically redirects me to an authentication page that I have used before. This is very annoying because every time I click a link to the journal, I’m sent to the other portal and can’t access the article. I want to stress that I haven’t installed any add‑on that would cause this redirection. I think I did that myself manually but I have no idea how. I’ve already deleted the cookies for both sites, but nothing has changed. I hope that makes sense, it’s a bit difficult to explain.

I'm using firefox 147.0, on mac Tahoe 26.2.

Just seemingly out of the blue I started getting Firefox captive portal warnings. Most websites load normally but if it's a new site i.e. one I ahven't visited in a while I get the "you must log into this netrwork before you an access the internet" message. I am and have only and always been on my home wifi with this computer, it's a laptop but has never been out of my house. Forefox seems slow lately and I keep getting this message. Other browsers work fine by the way.
