Open several tabs, in settings, check «ouvrir les fenêtres et onglets précédents», quit firefox.

On startup, Firefox should reopen with the same tabs before shutdown.

Firefox opens with one empty tab. Forcing me to got to «history -> recently closed windows -> restore» everytime I quit Firefox or shutdown the mac.

Fresh migration from Win 11 to Mac. tabs, passwords, bookmarks, plugins migrated from win to mac. Attachments:

I had about 15 pinned tabs - unloaded - that I was saving for a research project. I shut my PC down and when powered up for the next session - all the pinned tabs were gone. I never thought to record the tabs via screen shot or something.

Is this normal - what are the limits of pinned tabs ? Do they expire in a day ? When the PC powers down ? When Firefox updates ?

Exactly what are the limits or boundaries for pinned tabs ?

Please can you (a) add to menus, or create a button, so users can see the tab groups they have created and (b) prevent upgrades to Firefox from deleting a user's tab groups.

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?

Before the update, I could use "cmd+shift+[number]" to open a new container tab. Now, nothing works. "cmd+t" opens a tab with "no container", which is completely different.

I already tried going to "about:keyboard", but opening a new container tab isn't even listed as an option.

Let's say I have a group of 5 tabs. If I open a new tab from any of those tabs, I want that new tab to end up at the right of the group but not part of it.

Can I do that?

I have the same issue as this person https://support.mozilla.org/kn/questions/1373153. I HAVE the "Open previous windows and tabs" option on, i also DON'T have the "Clear history and cookies when closing the window" nor "Clear history when Firefox closes" nor "Always use private browsing mode" on so the solution doesn't work for me. Firefox won't open previous tabs when i close the window. However upon restarting my PC i have noticed that when i start up Firefox, my previous tabs are opened. So it seems the action of closing the window is doing something to prevent Firefox from opening the previous tabs again.

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

There must be some setting I accidentally engaged by hitting some kind of key combination but there are the contents of 2 separate tabs on the FF window. Maybe it's some new 'feature' they added but I right clicked on the tab and nothing looked like it applied to this. What is it and how can I make it stop? I just want each tab to have the contents for that site. If you know what's going on, maybe explain it simply and I'd also like to thank you.

Firefox quit opening a new tab when I open a new tab. This overwrites the page I was on. I have to open the history to try and find where I was. This is very frustrating and a waste of time. It stated recently.

In the last update the plus sign to open a new tab was moved from the left side to the far right of the screen. I find this very inconvenient. Just wondering if this bothers anyone else. Is there a way to roll back to the previous version of Firefox?

I have experience with chrome as i used to close the window then open i have my last session all the tabs occuring but in firefox im unable to do that even in settings of startup i have selected to open my previous tabs and windows but nothing opens just a blank screen also i cannot open recently closed tabs by command + shift+ T kindly help it is very annoying as i lose my presvous sessions again and again. I just lost ALL my open tabs AGAIN!!! This's the 3rd time !!!!! Restore previous tabs IS NOT IN THE Menu > History AGAIN per Mozilla's method!! Frankly, I'm tired & overwrought this keeps happening WHEN IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO!!
