So my dilemma is I don't know if what little security I have has been compromised. Not very computer literate. Installing Kaspersky today. Why do I find duplicate identical passwords and usernames saved for the same website

I've had to create a new account just to pose this question. I'd forgotten my previous account's password on mozilla support so went through the process of setting a new one. But I couldn't login using it. I tried 3 times and still couldn't login.
Is there a time lag between setting new passwords and them being recognised on the system? It's been 24 hours now at least.

I realized my mistake and copy pasted the profile folder in Firefox profile folder in program files. I restarted my Firefox it was working fine. Next day when I opened my Firefox I found that all the passwords are gone, so I logged in to sync and it was not working. It was giving sync error every time. I uninstalled Firefox and tried to reinstall. When the installation was done, I started it and it was in the same condition where I left it, means as it was before uninstallation, having all the bookmarks and add-ons. I created a new Firefox sync account and for that also it gives the same sync error. So now i want help regarding the following questions- 1. How to get all the passwords back? 2. How to resolve the sync error? 3. How to uninstall Firefox completely and install a fresh copy of it?

So I sent a new email to support@mozilla.com, which gets bounced back, ….the reply includes this “….visit the Mozilla Support website at https://support.mozilla.org/..... & ironically from that link it already had my same stored username and password filled out, & that worked, as I’m using it now! So there must be a solution for all users trying to get help… why won’t Firefox accept the same stored username and password? & if that fails….then why aren’t the username and password recovery emails being sent?

This access is mode is totally unacceptible to me
