The issue i want to raise is sometimes when I open my business website I show a white blank website. Just the scroller appear on the left side and nothing else. I also tried to open using VPN but the same thing goes on. First i thought i have serve issue but everything is Ok from server end. Then i realize it may the mozilla browser issue which i am using so i decided to contact you.

This is very serious issue for me please support team let me know the exact issue

I am using WIndow 8.1 64 bit

When I close tabs, and the computer stops working and I check the Task manager it turns out that firefox still runs 20-30tabs in the background when most of then have been closed and have just 4 running!!!

This occupies 100% of disk and CPU, and thw laptop stops functioning and freezes!!!!!!

And this happens all the time! How do we make firefox actualy close the tabs properly?? Without having to dig through task managerto close them again one by one?

Since this morning Firefox keeps crashing on my PC, not only tabs, but the whole browser. I've sent countless reports so far. There is no error message. Is there a problem with Firefox today, or there may be another issue? Please help, thanks.

Because I was getting frequent and numerous pop-up boxes asking for my Firefox Primary Password, even though your site claims you no longer use or require one. based on advice from a Cox Complete Care Technician, I set one up. I am still getting as many annoying pop-ups as frequently. Sometimes my primary password entry makes the pop-up disappear. Just as often, my PP entry makes the pop-up pop-off momentarily and come right back on minus my entry with no explanation or rejection message. Why is this happening? What is the point? I downloaded session manager on Firefox hoping to be able to import session file from session buddy from chrome. I tried importing the json file but it says it fails to read. Followed by some googling I found that the problem lies with the fact that session buddy files don't have several tags in current tabs in the json file so importing fails. Like mentioned here https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/issues/408#:~:text=Close%20Chrome%20and%20Open%20Firefox,%2C%20and%20click%20%22Open%22. I am a noob and I don't see how that could be fixed, any help, plz?

I downloaded the latest Firefox updates this morning. Now my web cam (this to me is a plug in camera that I can move around will not work. I need this camera Now. I have to get some papers filed . Before anyone says anything about my terminology, I do not know and am too old to learn computer technology- I mean age,not attitude. Also I can't figure out how to turn the flash off; there is a little cut in slot to the left of the flashbulbs, does anyone know what this is; and is there an on/off on this camera. Haven't been able to find instructions for it. the slot is the only area I can see that may control something on the camera but I can't see anything that will move in the slot. appreciate anything anyone can tell me. Microsoft Help came up (automated) and when thru a number of tries to fix it and couldn't. I think it was the Firefox update that did it but do not know why or what to check to correct. I went thru all my settings.

Had a sign that I needed to update so I clicked update and it did not complete. I clicked Close Firefox and got XULRunner Error: Platform version '101.1' is not compatible with minVersion >=101.0 Max version <=101.0’ for ‘Firefox’ and can't,t get past it. I've updated for years and nothing like this has happened before. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? if I do will I lose all my bookmarks and saved pages? Any other workarounds???

Today is 10-12-2023 and as of the last update to Firefox (118.0.2) external news links on posts in Facebook or Facebook messenger no longer work on WIN11pro64 computers as indicated through testing.

There is only an "I beam" indicator and frequently the posted news article links; and images do not appear when using Firefox (however they do appear on other browsers; no issues detected). As noted, this anomaly also applies to Facebook messenger external news links. Based on timing of this update 118.0.2 and the repeatability of the failure on various computers (with WIN11) and the absence of any other changes to all of the computers, all indicators are that this is not a Facebook issue and as nothing else on any of the computers has changed the 118.0.2 has an apparent issue. (In summary this effects every one of the 5 WIN11pro64 computers I have tested with the Firefox update, so far)... the only change to ALL OF THESE DEVICES was and is the Firefox update (118.0.2) .

In addition have tested Firefox and Facebook on 2 additional computers (WIN764pro) - to keep comparative balance; on 1 win7pro64 unit the Firefox app was not updated and on the other win7pro64 system it was updated to 118.0.2.

And after that round of testing the outcome was conclusive - the Facebook external news links work seamlessly and without issues (NO UPDATE TO FIREFOX ON ONE COMPUTER with WIN7pro64 and an UPDATED Firefox (118.0.2) with WIN7pro64 on the other)... both systems worked and the noted failure was not present.

These tests conclusively indicate to us internally that updating the WIN 11 units to 118.0.2 was a mistake.

Additionally for further comparison for this note - with Firefox update 118.0.2 Facebook external news links DO function on Opera and Chrome (for both WIN 7 and WIN11) all computers tested are the original 7 ... I have not tested other browsers for compatibility nor have I tested other computers, as the data seemed conclusive.

NOTE: If you are planning to respond please do not 'guess' (SWAG) at what you randomly speculate the issue(s) might be, as that would be an unproductive use of everyone's time... if you don’t have a proven solution you don’t have a solution, thank you.

If there is someone with knowledge of the 118.0.2 update that can offer an intelligent and proven solution please do so here...

but haphazard proposals of random unrelated experimentation without tested basis...or the concept of incorporating unproven suggestions such as maybe you should "change this" or "reinstall this" or "blah blah" when (I reiterate) the only changes to six (6) of these computers is the update 118.0.2 nothing else the seventh computer has an older version of Firefox and win 7 pro64. 118.0.2 functions correctly with win7pro64 and on Opera and Chrome browsers.

All intelligent proven workable input is appreciated because as of now Firefox for any and all of the WIN11 computers here Firefox has been removed from our approved list; as further failures are unknown.

We still use some Dell 13g servers equipped with idrac 8. When I'm trying to launch the virtual Console the window opens up but nothing shows. This used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?

I have so far submitted 36 crash reports and nothing happens. I have tried various suggestions and nothing works. The problem is very annoying as every time I type a a letter into the search bar, firefox crashes and asked to submit a crash report, which I did. I do like firefox but this is ridiculous. I was trying to customize the toolbar and I can't recall how, but I lost access to my extension shortcuts through the menu list button on the toolbar. I've been since trying to get the button back or replace it, to access my extensions that way but I'm not finding any options to get the button back which I find ridiculous because the button is very helpful on the toolbar in utilizing your extensions. I'm kind of a newbie so I'm looking for help in how to get the button back on my toolbar so I can utilize my extensions that way, please. Thanks.

I set up Firefox on a new laptop yesterday and it came up with all the bookmarks etc I had previously. I was prompted to set a profile so I set default user. Now I have lost everything I had. How do I get it all back. Do I delete Firefox and start over? Richard Culver [removed email from public]

I wrote earlier today that texts that I wrote with Windows 10 and tried to transfer to answer or add to an address became jumbled, illegible. It may be good to know that this also occurs with a number of adverstisement that are sent to me. What do I need to do to correct this?
