Have problems with flash sites, after following the complete uninstall and delete instructions for flash, re-starting computer and re-installing, problems were still there, then tried to uninstall realplayer plugin, and noticed add-ons didn't open. It Does open in safe mode though, managed to uninstall rp plugin, but problems still exist. Re-installed firefox, didn't help either.

Firefox won't load google search results. It will load the page of results with the thumbnails etc. but if you click any of them, just a loading spinning icon appears on the tab and it never loads.

I have tried: Both logged in and out of google account, All other areas of google work with no problems (news, shopping etc.), Site working perfectly in Internet Explorer, Running firefox in safemode, Manually disabling all plugins and addons, Clearing the cache and cookies, Opening results in new tab just results in white page with web address but it never loads, Restarting both my PC and router.

It's not been working for at least the past 6 hours. Last time I used it was about a week ago and it was working fine then. I've not noticed any problems on any other sites this week that I can recall.

So after I deleted a bunch of files/applications today (computer was threatening to crash), Firefox started to do a couple weird things. Navigating backward is no longer possible; the back navigation arrow is greyed out. Also, when I start typing a URL, it no longer suggests the rest of it, either in the URL bar itself or in a drop down menu (it used to do both). 16.0.2 is the current version, right? That's the one I kept, I deleted the others. Recently, I got the announcement that Apple isn't supporting my operating system, Mac OS X 10.5.8 anymore, I don't know if that is relevant. How can these things be fixed?

I recently changed to a new computer and I have been having problems with Firefox that I haven't experienced before. Whenever I use Firefox I find myself having to force refresh (Ctrl+F5) a site almost every time. I do this when I see the site that I am at looking weird (like the picture below) like it is ignoring the styles. Can anyone help me fix this?

I have tired running Firefox in safe mode, Chrome renders just find all of the time, and I have cleared the cache and everything multiple times

I have been working with ATT support and was raised to the third help level. I can send attachments with Gmail with your browser and I can send attachments with my wife's laptop with your browser. This has been going on for a month now. ATT support to help me be able to send my ATT e-mail with attachments. They say I need a different browser. I do not want change or leave Firefox. firefox will open and everything works until i load any fb games or videos, flash crashes.flash is good on my desktop pc. my laptop is brand new, firefox and flash are up to date, i'm sure flash is on. i dont know what to do. getting frustrated!!

I have my firefox 17.0. It did not load the css of any website and it can not play any video though I have latest version of Flash 11.5. It shows only black screen and video is not loaded.

As I mentioned, the program will not start on the first time that I click the icon. The hourglass appears for a second or two and then disappears. I have to try at least 3 or more times before the program responds. Should I try to uninstall 17 and reinstall 16. I have already uninstalled 17 and reinstalled it.

When I try to open Firefox, I get an error message that reads "The procedure entry point ?CreateDrawTargetForCairoSurface@Factory@gfx@mozilla@@SA?AV?$TemporaryRef@VDrawTarget@gfx@mozilla@@@3@PAU_cairo_surface@@ABUIntSize@23@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library gkmedias.dll.

My only option is to click okay in the Error Message Box, but Firefox will not open then.

It doesn't matter what site I'm on and it even happens sometimes when the browser is minimized and not being used. The window will disappear as if I've hit the close button, then when I start the browser again it usually brings my tabs back up or shows me the "This is embarrassing" window. I'd say it happens about every half an hour.

Firefox 17.01 takes forever to sign into a site-whether I manually enter the username and password or use Roboform to do it for me. I have trusteer rapport. On IE9 only a very short delay signing up but on firefox up to 8 seconds to reach a new site after signing in. I have PC with Windows 7

I really love delicious, but now that i have upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, I have to disable all of my delicious plug ins or all of the URLS in the nav bar will be blank. I can only tell what website I am going to by the little logo.

Has anyone found a delicious or other great bookmarking tool that does NOT break firefox in this way? Thank you so much!!

ugh......firefox has been wanting to install 17.01 or 17.04, can't remember which number, it bugs me and bugs me until i say o.k. i'll update my version. so i let it, it has to restart my computer,, then it says just a minute firefox is checking your addons for comparison, or whatever the 'f' it says, then a box comes on and a scrolling horizontal line goes back and forth like its working and the bottom says, this may take a few minutes. well, i wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and........nothing. i can't cancel it i can't x out of the box...i've let it do it for over and hour and it does nothing.....so i have to use internet ex. i've redownloaded firefox from there to try it from scratch and same thing happens, if I say cancel to the box right away it stops then nothing and i can rehit the firefox button and it will load firefox. but never fear....another box comes up later and says you need the latest version of firefox....man if the system on your end isn't working, can't you guys see this? I'm disappointed that you have sold out not too long ago too. and the ads and slowness and privacy is becoming more of an issue

When I click on either Firefox or Thunderbird, I get the: "Firefox (Thunderbird) is already running but is not responding" error message.

I tried all of the sloutions in the help suggestions, and none work.  When I access my profile, the parent.lock file is not there.  All other solutions listed do not work.  Both programs were working earlier this evening, but Thunderbird kept downloading my mail from the server multiple times, loading the same messages over and over every time it checked for mail.  It has never done this before.  Firefox was performing ok.  I restarted the computer to try to fix the Thunderbird problem when this Firefox problem surfaced also.  

I tried a system restore. NO help I tried to update. NO help I tried to uninstall and reinstall. No help.

I will perform an in depth virus scan tonight. Also after I restarted the first time, my anti-virus software was disabled. Seems the only time I have had that problem was when my system was infected.

Win 7 HP tower Latest version of Firefox and Thunderbird. Automatic updates for both are on.

Opened ABOUT Firefox and saw a button, restart to update. (I was on version 17-point-something. I clicked it and got an instance of crash reporter. Since then any attempt to open firefox results in crash reporter. Firefox screens do not appear. Tried safe mode by holding shift, same result. I am using a non-admin ID under Windows, I tried with a different non-admin ID and with the sysadmin, each one gets crash reported when I try to open firefox. Next step will be to remove and re-install firefox, step after that will be to switch to chrome.
