It took a bit of troubleshooting to isolate the cause of this. But apparently after my most recent Firefox update, when I click on the "Email Link" function, which I have in my overflow menu, the email itself does not pop up on top of the browser, instead it is hidden beneath it when it used to be on top.
I have done a couple of restores, tested all recent Windows updates, and upon a final restore and more or less disabling the Firefox updates, I believe the problem is with my most recent Firefox update. As long as I don't update, the email appears on top of the browser.
Short of disabling Firefox updates entirely, of which I wish i could do, I would accept responsibility for that, I can find no other workaround except to minimize the browser in order to address & send the email.

but sometime I need to store my passwords in some website so I reactivate history.
The huge problem I have is I can't access internet after reactivating history: after typing the web address, press enter and I wait forever the page to load.
If I deactivate the history again, no problem everything works.
In other words I am locked out in no history mode.
It is reproducible on my Laptop and Desktop PC, both Windows 10 x64 Pro. Reinstalling does not help.
Huge Bug in my eyes: browser do not connect to internet anymore.

Since the Windows 10 1903 update which installed last week our three laptops have all developed a problem when trying to print selected webpages in Firefox. Selecting ALL in print range works OK. Selecting PAGES FROM 1 TO 3 (for example) results in the error. See attached photo. Pressing 3 may eventually get a 3 in the TO box. Often, any other number may appear or even a blank. I have followed the printer reset procedures in article http://mzl.la/1BAQqop and re-installed the printer too. Have run FF in safe mode. In all cases the problem persists.
Have tried Edge and IE both of which work OK and they have different looking print routines.
All three laptops have Roboform password manager extension installed. One laptop recently developed a problem when typeing the master password. Incorrect random charactors were being entered instead of the chosen keystroke. Verified by using a keystrike logger.
Any info and help would be gratefully received
On Mac, stop asking to save password for specific site, without deleting existing saved passwords on that site.

twist: I want to continue saving the passwords already saved for certain domains, but I need to not be asked about saving others The reason I have multiple usernames/passwords at some domains is I do development work on them, and have a few accounts I use repeatedly. I also make new accounts frequently on these sites, for testing the signup process. That pop up asking about the passwords is a pain in that situation.

But now, after having updated FF from 60ESR to 68, I end up with the tabbar on the top, again. This happens on Mac OS 10.9 / iMac and 10.12.x MacBookPro 2017 with actual Firefox 68.x 64Bit
When I read news or facebook, I like to open interesting links in new tabs (via secondary mouse click) in order to not disturb the reading flow of the main page, so after reading the newly opened tab, I will return to the first tab, where facebook or lets say, some news mainpage is.
In order to navigate through pages I scroll the mouse ball or the magic mouse (Apple) . But in 30% of the cases, when I return back to the first tab, scrolling the mouse wheel/ball causes the original tab (the one I left before opening the link in a new tab) to zoom in and out, instead of moving content up or down, as it was before. When I come back to the facobook page, and it starts to zoom in and out violently, the macbook processor starts to blow hard, because of the increased processor load.
The only way to return the scroll behaviour back to normal, is to reload the current page, then of course scrolling the mouse wheel will normally move content up or down, as before.
Installed Add Ons: Ad-Guard Adblocker, Zoom Page WE
The phänomen occurs also without Add-Ons, and with Magic Mouse as well as with the older Scroll-Ball Mouse from Apple.
I already tried mousewheel.with_meta.action.override=0 and alle other mousewheel.with_meta.delta=0, but didnt´hepl anything.

Additional help suggestion offered by Firefox: * Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0 installed. No idea what to do about this; if it relates to Adobe Flash Player in Mac System Preferences, system plug-in is up-to-date.
Latest version of Firefox for Mac.

Closing separate FF instances without losing open tabs

I keep multiple tabs open in multiple windows. Firefox v67 has done a good job saving/restoring all of them each time I launch the program. When the browser informed me of the v68 upgrade, I allowed it to install. At first launch after the upgrade, I was presented with a single fresh FF window with no history and no options to restore previously closed tabs/windows. I fiddled with it a bit... investigating options, closing/re-opening the browser, trying to see if there was anything to recover, including peeking into FF's disk storage, but to no avail. I began opening new windows/tabs to rebuild my normal setup. After a couple of days, from within a non-browser app I launched a URL (like pulling up online help). In response to that system request, a separate instance of FF launched and this instance restored all of my original pre-upgrade windows/tabs! And note these are separate instances (see attached photo of Process Explorer). So for example, I cannot drag a tab from a window in one instance and drop it onto a window in the other instance.
So now the big questions: What is the minimum amount of tab/window loss I can incur by shutting down each instance? In what order should I shut them down? When I re-launch after closing both instances, will FF only restore one set of windows/tabs? And will it be from the most-recently-closed instance?

I recently replaced my hard drive in my iMac 27-inch, Late 2013, with macOS Mojave 10.14.5. Now my Facebook does not present on in Firefox. Only the blue bar across the top comes up. Clicking on the delta at the top right give access to "General," "Your Facebook Information," "Security and Login" and other items, but I can't do anything in these areas. However, Facebook works fine on Safari. I would prefer to keep using Facebook on Firefox.
