Question Every time when i close firefox and i re-open it, firefox changes my proxy setting form automatique to manual... Than i have to make the proxy setting automatique again and have to press f5 before i can connect to the internet... How can i change this?

Just switched over to FF V5 and reviewing some of the new features. Wondering how to enable the "firefox button" that is mentioned on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features page

When I pull up firefox, the whole page shifts to the right of the screen and i lose about 40% of the page. This is very difficult when looking on Facebook or Yahoo for my mail. This does not happen when I pull up Internet Explorer. What Gives, please help

upto the version 3.6, i did not have this problem. with the recent versions, when i click for closing, it closes but if i want to open again, it says, "firefox is already running. before you open again, to close, restart your computer."

When trying to login to www.linkedin.com it can not sign me in and asking to create new profile. When I'm trying to create new profile it says that this profile already exists. It working without any problems in IE8

Question my hotmail account won't work anymore, it comes up but when I try to do an action (delete a message) it won't do anything, I've restarted the webpage and updated firefox but it keeps doing the same thing, this was not happening a few days ago

it says that for Macs with Intel processors, the Firefox PDF Plugin extension can be used to view PDFs inside Firefox. However when you try to install this plugin on any 5+ version, it shows up as incompatible.

Have been using www.iii.co.uk website for many years but recently, in IE9 have been asked if I want to Open or Save a file iii_co_uk. Website tech support can't offer any answer, but have suggested that I try Firefox instead. Looks to be a good alternative to IE9, but when trying to access www.iii..co.uk now seeing display of page or so of 'hieroglyphics'. Can't find answwer to this on any other web searches. Help!

It's a Private (Corporate) Site, connected to SAP (BW) it works perfectly with Firefox 3.6.5

I have recently submitted a query because I was unable to uninstall Butterscotch toolbar. I had tried all the usual ways but to no avail, however, I have now resolved the problem. I use AVG 2011 antivirus software and found the ofending files in C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\Toolbar\Firefox\avg@igeared\chrome\content\libs where there were 2 files include.js and include_lite.js. There was also a Toolbar.old\Firefox\avg@igeared\chrome\content\libs containing the same two file names. I deleted the Toolbar folder and rename Toolbar.old as Toolbar and the problem disapeared. I don't know why, you are the experts, but it may help others with the same problem.

Every time I click on a website, this screen (Index of file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/) pops up. I close it and it pops up again, sometimes 3 or 4 times. I'm sick of it. I have Avira and Malwarebytes and they can't fix it. Is it something peculiar to Firefox. I never had the problem when I had the earlier version of Firefox. Hopefully, you can shed some light on this.
