MSN.COM has been my home page for some time now. Just today, I am no longer able to download that page. I get a blank page. I am able to download that page if I use the Google Chrome browser, but not with FireFox. I can access every other web page that I normally use, but cannot access MSN.COM

When I boot up my pc in the morning, most of the time it has "lost" the homepage. It starts up as if I have just installed Firefox, giving me the " welcome to Firefox" pages. I change the homepage back by entering it via the options panel. On occasion it has done this during the day without any reboot of the pc. Not a huge problem, just a minor pain.

There is "Compatibility View" in Tools menu of Internet Explorer 9 . That function help to see

        some web pages in proper format. I need that function in Firefox 20.0 but I can not find it.
        Is there any function like that in Firefox 20.0 ?

this is maddening. After updating to FF20, each and every time I open FF the stupid Welcome message is permanently displayed in a tab. There is no way to opt out. You cannot close it. I have tried cleaning out cookies and cache to no avail. I even signed up hoping that would automatically close it, nothing. I am really really annoyed now. Is this a new feature of Firefox, forcing their messages to appear without any means of closing them?

I chat in chat rooms from time to time and I find it bothersome when every time I start to type the computer starts to search for text. I have gone to firefox options and it is not enabled but search it does. Can you suggest a way that I can stop that from happening?

I noticed that my back button and my add-ons button in the top right corner becomes pixelated. Here is an image to what I'm viewing, this only it disappears if I open firefox up in Safe Mode.

On image 3 the gradient does not stand still, but it shows enlarged scan lines in the background of the LastPass add-on.

I had version 8.3 of firefox installed on my windows computer. I had my computer worked on and they updated my firefox browser to version 20. I had imacros addon installed on version 8.3., when they installed version 20 on my computer I tried to install imacros addon but it says it is installed but it doesn't show up. How can I install it?

I upgraded to Firefox 20 and now my inspector is confined to the bottom of the viewport in an iFrame that I can pop out.

In previous versions, I could open up the CSS rules and box model visualization at the same time. This was one of the main reasons I considered the Firefox inspector superior to those of Opera, Chrome and Safari.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this now.. do I need to click between the box model and the rules or is there some way to revert to the old inspector layout or one that is more like it?

I'll code an add-on if I have to get this thing to work. Very disappointed that Firefox removed their old default inspector view.

Also when I open a new window some of the buttons from addons are huge and they don't shrink until I click the download manager button: http://i.imgur.com/AmbB8Y4.png

When the window saying that Firefox 20 had been released came up earlier today, I clicked "Install Later." Later on I was working on something and Firefox suddenly froze. I force-quit it and restarted it and it automatically upgraded to 20, but everything got screwed up like this. Could someone please tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

EDIT: I found that disabling the "Tab Mix Plus" extension fixed these problems.

After updating Firefox, the right-click menu is showing much more commands than before (Play, Pause, Mute etc. etc.), most of them out of context ("Open Link in New Tab" when there is no link) and none of them working.

I had to do an erase & reinstall on my Mac to clear up some problems. Fortunately, I have a valid Time Machine backup. How can I restore my bookmarks and extensions from the backup and avoid having to laboriously re-install them one-by-one? Thanks.

I once had this add-on appearance when opening Mozilla Fox. After some computer automatic update, the add-on appearance disappeared. I can find it, it is enabled, but no picture is displayed. I tried downloading other appearances, but none of them worked as well.

Having recently updated Firefox to version 20.0.1 I get the compatibility check everytime and also the What's new page. Can you tell me how I turn these off, please.

When I go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ , in Chrome, it says my plug-ins are out of date, but when I check the Chrome Extensions/plug-ins all the version numbers match up to the latest version. This also happens in Safari, Opera, Camino, Chromium and Omniweb. Is Mozilla plug-in checker for Firefox only?

Laptop Vista OS. Firefox opens about 10% of the time. Firefox is now opened in safe mode on the laptop. I started to troubleshoot by locating my profile. I found two default profiles. One named "8wc96kd.default-1350623840166" dated 10/18/2012. The other named "negyzq3j.default" dated 1/12/2008, This one has many more folders & files, . Neither one matched the profile on my Desktop XP computer. Thunderbird works well. At 77 years old I don't know what to do now.
