'why are there false tabs open when i restore the session? i know wich ones were open yesterday and today it click on firefox and all tabs are wrong. tabs i didnt use fore months are opend wtf can i do????

Today, I had a problem trying to re-load a website I had saved just the other day. I have a bunch of such websites for a technical project I am working on.

I tried loading the other saved web-sites. All had been saved as a complete file and by this browser. I have no other browser installed.

The problem was that the saved web-page kept re-loading. No forum-discussion could be found so the trouble-shooting option was entered into.

I opened Firefox in safe-mode (via the command-line call). Running a suggestion; clearing cache didn't resolve the problem (in safe-mode the saved web-page still kept re-loading with a rapid cycle)

The next "suggestion" I tried was refresh Firefox. Firefox advised that none of my saved data and settings would be lost. Well, my entire profile is gone!!! Thankfully synchronizing worked such that I could recover passwords, history etc. What are NOT recovered are the settings for websites, probably other infos too.

I have two login-accounts on my system and I have a shared, common profile for both. This was using a public folder with access rights only for those two users.

I have been using that profile architecture for months. This is now gone!! Those folders do not exist anymore. In its place are entirely new folders, their formats completely unfamiliar to me. I am recalling my latest backup but will it be of any use???

How do I disable the mozilla.com news popups? I keep getting annoying news popups with Mozilla.com written at the top of the popup. Todays was USAToday. I did not request this and I want it gone.

You have changed my home page without my consent. I got no notice I just signed & there was Firefox homepage. I have had yahoo since I got online since 2000. So I love yahoo. I want it back as my homepage. Thank you

A few days ago I accidentally deleted my browsing history and I have lost some pages that I need to revisit, is there a way to get the browsing history back as of 12/20/2023

This seems to be an known issue.

I deinstalled my Firefox and it created autmatically Desktop\Firefox\old data

I want to transfer my old data (esp. for my PW+Logins) and it goes nowhere

I found the files keys4 and login, copied to my actual Folder (after reinstalling). But it doesnt do anything.

I also copied the whole "old data" Folder to the new directory and overwrote it. Didn't help either.

Is there any way to get my old Logins/PW from this old data Folder or is it just a wast of time ?

well your latest update not only crashed my browser, but also crashed my computer, now it takes 1-2 minutes to load a page after your recent update. oh. it also changed all of my settings! Great job in setting the internet back 20 years, it makes dial up look lightening fast!

Today when I opened my browser, my shortcuts were replaced with Chinese ones. How did this happen and where did my old ones go?

My laptop was sleeping, and not restarted. I had reopened my firefox.

These Chinese ones do not show in my list of shortcuts. (pictures below)

I do not use Chinese language sites

Malware scan turning up nothing (yet)

What is the best way to restore my shortcuts and make sure random ones do not come back.

I have been using my banks website, www.lbandt.com, for years. Suddenly firefox cannot find the website, what is the problem? Have to have access or can't use firefox.

What happened to "recent bookmarks"??? I is no longer available....why???? I need it back, as I used it all the time and my bookmarks were very easy to locate. Now I have no idea where a bookmark is, that was even bookmarked an hour ago.

Hi Mozilla Suport teams, i am currently using the mozilla for the developer version and the app runs flawlessly, and i love it. But i have some suggestion for the developer at mozilla to make a tab that can group the tab into a fresh tab like the google chrome has, and since i open so many tab in this browser, i would absolutely love it where the feature of grouping tab is available for me, so i can group them in name and leave it there, rahter than open up more than 10+ tabs in a window.
