In my messenger account on my laptop in Facebook I can't contact any of my people. They all say person is unavailable in Messenger. Yet if I use another browser my messenger works. It has something to do with Firefox.

Firefox won't let me save new password because it "is not a common password." what does that mean? Aren't passwords supposed to be "not common?"

Two days ago my Firefox download box started showing AppFile_qqasdc.exe as containing a virus.

I delete it. it returns whenever i restart Firefox.

I cannot find the file on my hard drive, in the registry or anywhere on my system.

HELP!

Hello. I have been having problems in Firefox recently, which I think may have started since recent updates.

First problem: I use Mullvad VPN and now pages won't load...the browser seems to get stuck, especially when I google things but also when I put in actual URLs. Mullvad support says that something is trying to set the DNS and this is interfering with the VPN but I don't know what this could be. I checked the DNS setting in Firefox and it says it is turned off. I am having no problem like this when I use Safari.

Second problem, which may or may not be related: a teaching interface that I have used for many years, now suddenly won't let me drag and drop files into it or do other routine manipulations. Again, I am having no problems on Safari.

I'm very comfortable but no computer expert so please advise in very user friendly terms. Thank you!

I'm not sure I'm asking in the right place, but I couldn't find anywhere else that would match my question better.

I recently submitted a new add-on, which has just been accepted and added to the store. I'd like to submit an alternate version of the same add-on as another extension, but I haven't been able to. The first add-on provides two features, but one of them requires access to web requests; the second add-on removes that feature entirely and therefore does not need to access anything (other than a button press), hence why I'd like to add it as another, separate extension.

The first submission went smoothly, no issues at all; however, today after making the necessary changes to the add-on to make the alternate version, I tried submitting it and have been unable to because Multiple submissions violating our policies have been sent from your location. The IP address has been blocked.. I'm forced to use a VPN, and I assume this the reason why I'm getting this error message.

I've tried restarting my router, changing my location on my VPN, or briefly turning off my VPN, even using another computer, but it always results in the same error message after doing the captcha, preventing me from submitting the other add-on. What can I do?

I assure you I'm not a bot -- although that's probably what a bot would say in this situation...

I have used Firefox for a long time, and it is the browser I prefer. Unfortunately over the last 6 months I am increasing having problems opening up webpages I normally view on Firefox! When I switch over to Google Chrome (NOT my preference!) those same pages open with no problems! What's up with this?

I can't change the name of one of my firefox profiles. I have an error where the name is too long and it cannot be changed. Is there any way to do this other than creating a new profile and deleting the old one?

All YouTube videos get me the following page, none of them will load. If I open them in a private window, they load just fine. I've tried clearing cache, disabling hardware acceleration, resteing Firefox (only works for a day or two, then same issue) and nothing.

When I opening new webpage, for 1-2 second's i see white blank page (which is normal), the question is: how can I protect my eyes and change this default blank white color screen to something... darker?

Addon "Dark Reader" did not help.

The dialogue box for creating filters is so large that the submit button is below the bottom of the screen on my laptop. When I finish designating a destination for a filter I am unable to save it. I have tried to size the dialogue box, to no avail. Is there a solution?

I have Mac Pro 2018 and having a problem with Thin Lines on left side of the browser (Firefox Mac) i can't find anyone on line with same problem explaining how they resolved the issue!
