I am not able to download any kind of file, from any kind of website to my disk. I am able to select open on the download dialog, and this will open the file and save it to the temp directory firefox uses for this function, but this does not save the files to disk/the download folder like I want to. I am unable to "Save image as..." as well, since this is considered a download. There is no record of these downloads even being attempted in the download history.

I just downloaded the latest version of firefox. When I tried opening it the message said it is not compatible with Max OSX 10.11. I now need to download a later version of firefox. Which version is compatible with Mac OSX 10.11? thank you!

Hi, I have some issue on the new updates on Version 101.0.1 (64 bit) Firefox auto-download all my files even when I am in view mode. Is there a way to disable this feature?

I kept getting new version is available while I was up to date. This could be due to this:

When I had Firefox in its standard location in C drive, I also installed another copy on my computer's E drive. After a while I uninstalled the E drive version and kept the C drive one.

After that I kept getting a new version is available, but could not be downloaded. I follow the links and find out I do have the latest version. When there is a new version out, in Settings - General - Check for updates I always get the message Firefox is up to date.

I uninstalled Firefox completely, but kept my profile directory contents. After re-installation, I copied contents of my old profile into the new installation default profile.

However, I still get the 'New version is available, but couldn't be downloaded'. The problem is still there.

Somewhere in the files in my profile directory there is still a trace of the E drive installation and the update checking looks at that (I guess ? ) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I realize that you all don't support the older version. Yet it's also the case that Apple won't update this El Capitan on my 2008 model (terrible, a crying shame, I know).

I've also tried to install your Extended Support Release. Will that work? I'm an independent research scholar, not currently associated with either Oxford or Stanford.

So I really need to have your Firefox back — I had it until this morning, when I needed to trash it (b/c of a bug), and then re-install. Yet I've not been able to re-install so far.

Hence, I'm seeking your help!

i use the same add-ons on my desktop and laptop. i open my laptop and click on synchronize and later i open my desktop. two of these add-ons on the desktop have disappeared! this is not the first time. what can do i, how can install it to prevent it does not happen again?

I'm trying to install Firefox on a Chromebook. I've done this successfully before. But the command in the terminal window sudo bash -c "$(curl -fsS https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mozilla/sumo-kb/main/run-firefox-chromeos/install-flatpak.sh)"

Is giving me the error message curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

Any advice would be appreciated! This is a fresh ChromeOS environment since I just did a factory reset so everything should be clean, and with latest OS version.

Hi New Dell Inspiron 15-3000, installed Firefox 100 in new laptop, transfered all files via LAN from old laptop All websites work ok except 2 of the 4 banking websites I use. One site will not accept my login the other will open after putting in my login twice Have gone to "troubleshoot mode" and both sites work , go back to "normal" and they do not work Any clues how to fix this, not to technical please I am not a computer whizz and all children have left home Many thanks Ron Managh

have mac 10.10.5 -tried to install newer firefox browser (not compatible) and in process lost old version of broswer and all bookmarks. Can find and reinstall original browser and regain my bookmarks

I would like to save my Firefox profile data into my computer as I would like to transfer the data to a different computer. Is there any solution to how to save it down?

Hello, I recently migrated to a new MAC and now when I download a file and click on "show all downloads", it opens the about:downloads tab and not the downloads list from the library. Is there any way to force Firefox to open the Library when I click on see all download please? Thanks

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. I have just installed V.100 and have come across a small problem. I can't sign into 'The Canberra Times' site. The option to sign in is missing from their home page. It is there using MS Edge or Chrome and I can login to the site on those two browsers. This does not seem to be a problem with other websites that I have tried since the new version!

I can't even begin to imagine what might be going on with a situation like this! Thanks.

I've read all the articles here about importing my passwords and history, but the Import Wizard is ONLY giving me the option to import my bookmarks. Even if I can't get the browsing history I need to be able to migrate my (extensive) password list.

I've exported my Safari passwords as a .csv file, but there doesn't seem to be an option to import a .csv file.

The page here regarding it says the feature is 'disabled by default' but does not say it's unavailable and I can't find clear instructions for how to activate the feature so that I can import my passwords. Can anybody help?
