since the last redevelopment of Mozilla Firefox I am having trouble exiting both my private and non private browser. I want to uninstall Firefox and re install it to see if that gets rid of the gremlins.

I want to report an issue with the Firefox 102.4 ESR for Linux.

System: OS: Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit)

An Addon called „ebesucher“ is installed and in use. This addon always visits a new website within a few seconds and that’s it, nothing special. Sometimes Firefox working for a long time, but sometimes it crashes within an hour more than one time.

So, I want to know why and is it fixable? It’s a very annoying issue.

Since the latest version of FF was installed. I can rarely make attachments to emails or upload to websites. I'm having to use another browser for this purpose. I never had this issue until this version. Nothing else on my PC has changed.

Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

My firefox has been crashing for the past 2 hours, tried troubleshoot mode but it is still crashing every other second.

On some websites the tabs are not crashing- example mozilla website. On other websites (Twitch) -reddit it is crashing.

Hi there, like it says. My firefox crashes immediately upon trying to play a video. Even simply scrolling over a video on youtube or google results, it breaks when it tries to the preview. This is the same on Twitter, Facebook, Campus Moodle, etc. Every website I use.

I've had this problem before and I did fix it by totalling wiping my history and browsing cache. Doing that and having to sign back into everything is super tedious though and I don't want it to keep happening. This doesn't happen when I use firefox's troubleshooting mode, everything works as normal and videos play without the browser crashing. So I think it must be something specific to my browsing history somehow? But I've no idea how that could crash the browser just from trying to play a video.

Today (20-10-2022) mozilla show some changes in layout with infos about that change. Mostly is mozilla icon in top left corner. But now the app just keeps failling. 4 tabs open and freezes. youtube can take one song to the end without several stops (hiccups) or stop completely. And it gets to slow to open a new page or simply doesn't open and i get a message that mozilla is not responding.

Every month or so, I believe it's everytime there's a new firefox update, my firefox brower stops working. Pages go into perpetual loading mode, and if i close firefox and start it again it says these pages aren't able to be opened.

What's going on?

Firefox is my primary browser. As soon as I try to play any video it freezes / crashes. It is also doing it using other browsers. I have tried all troubleshooting steps online. I have deleted and updated drivers. no change.

I'm not entirely sure what happened but I know earlier this year in as recent as July Firefox was working fine. I don't know if it was an update or what it was but now Firefox is consistently crashing multiple times a day.

There's never an error code but one of a few things happens:

• The entire application will freeze and not let me control Firefox at all. I need to launch Task Manager to close the browser and then sometimes reset my computer to ensure it doesn't happen again.
• With the most recent update, some of my emails on GMail (not all just some random ones) will not load in any capacity.
• The browser will flicker white and will hide the top bar of the application so I can't close it without task manager.
• The application will slow down and then crash with a "Do you want to send this report to Mozilla?" and I always click yes.

I have tried disabling and removing all extensions, I've tried firewall stuff, I've tried everything I can find but the browser is only getting worse in my experience. With this last update everything loads a few seconds slower than usual as well.

Is there a solution I am missing or am I doing something wrong? I am very very close to switching browsers but I'd rather not if there is a fix.

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. Firefox version: v106.0.3 OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 22623.875

I have 5 different profiles with different number of tabs and add-ons installed. 3 out of 5 crashes, 2 works. The problematic profiles crash 5-6 times on launch, regardless whether Firefox was started in "normal" mode or safe mode. I submitted all crash reports I found at about:crashes. Here are the IDs:

I see various DLLs related to a program called ExplorerPatcher in the reports. I've been using it for months and I've had no crashes with pre 106.x.x versions.

crash reports - I KNOW you asked for 5 or 10, but this may show the SCALE of the issue (BTW, I'm on Manjaro / KDE, all software up to date as of 11/1/22 17:30)

Hi all,

Firefox is crashing when launched, but not all the time. After a couple of tries, it will launch without issue. This is a brand new Windows 11 Pro installation with all updates. I have run some windows debloating scripts like privacy.sexy and WinDebloatTools, thinking that might have something to do with it, but not sure where to start in troubleshooting this. Any help with where to start looking would be great. Thanks!
