At the latest update firefox 64bit crashed and I neede a totally new install of firefox. After downloading it said, partly installed we will repair the upgrade and it did. However only a few bookmarks were recovered many of which were over a year old... So how to recover my recent bookmarks, which were in sorted in named bookmarkfolder, e.g. home/study/work

I would assume a backup frommy firefox account but that does not show a solution..?!??

On Windows 10, Professional up to date with Malwarebytes (pro) and Microsoft Security Essentails running permanently.

Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. I have some other suggestions regarding Bookmarks in Firefox if you are interested. Regard, K

A virus file, from a website, keeps automatically downloading each time that I open my Firefox browser. I have tried clearing the cookies and history but the file keeps showing up as downloaded but the actual file is not in the general download folder? I only see where it download and says downloaded in the download list. The file contains a virus and also Firefox states that its dangerous. I never clicked to open the file.

How to stop this from keep automatically downloading when I open my browser? Please help ASAP Thanks

Hello, Every time I open Firefox there is the standard "Sign In" button in the top right corner and then also a second "Sign In" window that pops up to the right of the search bar partially covering the search bar. This is the window that I would like to disable or stop from opening. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide on the subject.

I have just reinstalled windows and then Firefox. If I click settings then a menu item it just freezes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Using Windows 11 Pro 22H2.

Windvine Content Description Module updated - problem fixed. I had alternately disabled both Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codex, closed and restarted FireFox with no success. This AM, I updated Windvine, closed and reopened FireFox. Amazon Prime video now works very well. Thanks for your trouble shooting tips ! while using the site https://animesuge.to/home and using any server other than filemoon, the audio will either play for split second and then mute, or it wont play at all. The video itself plays fine. i tried it using other browsers and it works fine, it only happens while using firefox. i tried turning off all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but neither of these helped.

No, They are Blocking me the only way I can watch it is in troubleshooting mode, AND HAVE disabled the adblockers'.

I do not get the same messages when I use other browsers like Chrome or Ms Edge. This has been like this ever since the updates beyond Firefox version 78.

It seems every time I update Firefox they add something else I don't like. Recently, I did the update, and now my tabs are too tall and I can't access my menu, and/or they interfere with the Min and Max l buttons on the top right.

How do I adjust the height of the tabs so they don't go all the way to the top of the browser screen?
