I am able to install Firefox, but as soon as I try to open it, after a second a window pops up for probably about 1 frame, and is barely visible. I have tried all of the things I could, but am not able to fix this.

I began having trouble w/Firefox browser yesterday evening. I submitted details several times. Completed lengthy Win 10 update. Today, Firefox icon in Task Bar is requiring Google log-in? Have no idea why or how to fix.

As you can see in the title, Firefox crashes immediately opening, though sometimes it works for a few seconds. I have figured out that it works when I create a windows profile without any association to my Microsoft account, it does actually work, but as soon as I add the Microsoft account to the profile, it crashes. This also happens with Opera GX, but not Chrome.

This has just started happening since I was forced to reinstall windows after a critical failure with my MBR for some reason.

I have all the settings where they should be to prevent websites from continually being logged out when I close Firefox....but each and every time I start up a browser window again...I am asked to sign in again no matter what. I am not so concerned about a majority of them, but I had it so that when my Firefox browser first opened, it went directly to the Google home page and already had me signed into my Google/Gmail account. But now...nope. I have to sign in every. Single. Time!

Right now, I have all my settings marked as I have seen in numerous other posts:

I have made sure that there ARE checks in the boxes for:

• Remember browsing and download history
• Remember search and form history
• Clear history when Firefox closes

And inside the History settings, only the cache is marked to clear every time Firefox closes.

I have made sure that there are NOT checks in the boxes for:

Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed Always use private browsing mode

And inside the History settings, there is no box checked for:

• Browsing & download history
• Active logins
• Form & search history
• cookies
• site settings
• Offline website data

None of the topic discussions about this or any combination of settings have worked for me thus far, and it getting to be quite maddening at this point. I need some help here so that when I open Firefox, I am not constantly logged out of

I can no longer choose where downloads go. I have tried "always ask" but I am getting no where. One post said open the three bars on the right an look for option. NO luck.

I have noticed in a couple of websites, a link or text box does not appear in Firefox, but does in Chrome (unfortunately, I don't remember which site that was). Also I have tried to open my Citibank account (Citibank.com.au) but it comes up with an error and wont open, yet it does with Chrome. I would rather not use Chrome, but I may not have a choice if this problem is not addressed.

Firefox suddenly stopped connecting to internet websites. I use McAfee anti-virus with their firewall. McAfee whitelists Firefox but I removed it from the whitelist and then put it back. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing with no change. I've removed all add-ons. I'm having to use a different browser but I want Firefox back.

I created a folder on my bookmarks toolbar, in there are more folder, entertainment , comparison sites etc. All were connecting up until a few days ago, now if I click on a link, it just does not connect. If I type in the search bar the site address it connects within seconds.

Hello, I have encountered a lasting issue: Firefox' telemetry collection process causes a cmd window to pop up briefly. The windows sometimes lingers a split second later, and if I accidentally click it at that time, whatever program I'm in will get minimized and I'm back on the desktop with cmd window at front. You might want to have a look at that, I disable my telemetry for time being. Firefox version is 99.0.1 (64 bits), operating system is Win10 10.0.19043. Respond for other data you might need. I currently installed firefox but when I try to open it it shows a missing of the profile which I searched and the article said to make another profile by using window + r and I did but when I click on start firefox it shows an unexpected error prevented you to save changes and I searched abt this but this has no answer that is in my favour so can you help it would be great

something new-- I can't sign in to my att account like I always have. I can still log in on older win 7 and android devices. Only this win10 desktop is now having problems today. Any suggestions?

I use Kaspersky for my internet security. I choose the 'Safe Money' option for many other sites...but cannot connect sign on with my bank. Because the page always comes up asking for me to choose a browser. I down load and update the firefox site. This does nothing except giving me multiple firefox updates! What is happening and how can I stop having this issue pop up? The other sites on 'Safe Money' are not banking sites, but still need security. Do I have to change browsers? I went into setting and Firefox is not on the list of defaults. I think the issue is that I downloaded Firefox through the website and not the MS app store. Because when I open the "Look for the app in Microsoft Store" tab on the default list, it opens the store and lets me download Firefox again. I wouldn't mind doing this but it downloads it to my C drive and I need it on my F drive because my C drive is my SSD and is used for only Windows and because Windows keep getting bigger and bigger, I am running out of storage on it. When I try to move the newly downloaded Firefox to my F drove through the "Apps & Features" menu where you can uninstall apps. It tells me Firefox can't be moved. So there seems to be a communication error between windows and the none app store download.

The pics show the default option first with Firefox downloaded from the web not being there (setting 1), then Firefox being there (setting 3), and last the failure to move the files to the F drive (setting 2). Any help would be great. Thanks.

My firefox browser is completely unable to load any tabs. The search bar works but screen remains blank after pressing enter, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. Thank you any help
