My browser is not asking me if i want to OPEN SAVE or SAVE AS When I download. I want to be able to change the location and the file name. The browser is set to ask me but it never does. It just downloads and opens in another window to view.

In the past 2 or three weeks I've been flooded with ads from LIGHTINBOX.com....All of a sudden 4 ads come up in the right lower part of my screen and even if I "dismiss" or Close the ad boxes that space is returned with more ads from the same websight. I've gone to their webside and finally waded through many screens to get to an unsubscribe function but I am STILL getting the same flood of ads. A flurry of 8 or 10 ads in an hour!! Windows 10, current with latest update. My release of Firefox, after all latest updates, does not show/list any TOOLBARS on the left side of the page. They are gone. I can't find anyway to get that list back. Import from MS/EDGE does not work. I see some TOOL Icons across the top of the page, I repeat............. SOME Tool Icons, not many. Tried to query for help in Mozilla posing that same question. ZILCH of any helpful reply. this is what is answered.......................

To list the toolbars in Firefox, you can: 1. Click the menu button • • Click More tools • • Select Customize toolbar • • Click the Toolbars dropdown menu at the bottom of the screen • • Choose the toolbars you want to display • • Click Done

On startup why doesn't my Firefox homepage open in full screen mode any more? When I tap the Firefox Icon to begin a Firefox session, Firefox opens in a small window in the upper left corner of the screen. I can minimize that small screen. Then tapping when the Icon once again, Firefox opens full screen. I am unable to get a screen shot to show this small window.

Hi! I'm using Firefox as my main browser on Wondows and on MacOS since the beginning, leaving Netscape Navigator 3.0, and Mozilla 1.0 to meet this great project.

I often have more than 10 windows opened, and each of them has more than ten tabs opened in it, meaning that I need to find the good tab by one hundred... It's really difficult because I can't search by the name of the tab, most of the time, the name of a PDF file that I just loaded and sometime looks like the name given by an MFC scanner "SKM98392839.pdf".... But I know in which order I opened it, and what are the neighbor tabs...

So, my question is : does anyone asked to enhance the drop-down menu "Window" in the menu bar, to have Windows name ordered by opening order since the beginning of the session, and for each window name have a drop-down sub-menu containing the names of the tabs, also presented by a special order, the one created in the window by loading, or moving new tabs and also being able to see in this menu the type of container used.

It would be also interesting to be able to know the parent of a new tab : a user new tab, or an older tab where an http link has been clicked.

If there are extensions to do this, please, let me know, because I can't find one of them.

For the past few months, the browser will no longer download any files. The only diagnostic that I can see is failed when the download is attempted. I have refreshed firefox and the problem remains. Chrome can download without any problems, but I used firefox for many years and wish to continue.

It's rather strange that this would setup like this. IF it IS possible that more than one of the very same application can be somehow added to Firefox's Application list, then there needs to be a way to remove that AND we should not need to reset the entire browser to do that (see screenshot). Anyway just a user's opinion, doubt it will be heard though.

bold textI GET SIDE TABS WITH MOZILLA ICON WITH A WARNING MY "PC" IS VIRUS INFECTED and to click on it to remove the virus. The WARNING SIDE TAB RETREATS BEFORE I CAN CLICK ON THE SIDE TAB.

Hello I recently updated firefox, and I think it got rid of all my old settings. at any rate, I went to the 'add ons' area, and clicked the button to have the evernote web clipper added back to my account. according to the 'add on' area, I have sucessfully installed the evernote web clipper. However, I do not see the little green elephant button in it's usual place in the upper right hand corner of the browser. I tried logging out and restarting firefox, but still the same result. I am afraid that without having the the little green elephant head button to click- there is no way for me to actually use the add on. Can you help me figure out how to make the little green elephant button visible, so I can actually use the add on?

Recently installed updated Firefox (131.0.3). Lost ability to print simplified version. If I go to troubleshoot mode the option shows up, but I have no add ins, extensions, or anything. The only change to browser function I've done is homepage and clear history after Firefox closes. Something is goofy here. I deleted and reinstalled Firefox with no change to condition.
