I've just upgraded Firefox and no longer have little arrows by the back and forward buttons on the toolbar. This means I can only click back or forward one page at a time. I used to be able to click on the arrow, see a list of previous pages and then go back (or forward) several pages with one click. I looked at adding the History button to the tool bar but that's not as convenient.

This "Type Error: classes (cid) is undefined" or this "Type Error: Components (cid) is undefined keeps popping up in a small pop up box every time I open a tab or switch from Thunderbird to Firefox to open a site,

when I downloaded firefox 4.0 some of my games won't load. it starts to load and then just stops. then when I want to post something on my wall it appears all the way on the bottom of the page and I can't get to it. I want to go back to the old firefox. Is that possible?

The Roadrunner Radio Player in the IE browser shows a volume control in the top right portion of the player window (http://www.rr.com/radio/index.cfm) This control is not shown in the Firefox 4.0.1 version of the player window.

How can I fix this?

Whitelisting the site rr.com in Ghostery doesn't help?

I have Norton's security suite under the old version the Idenity protection worked. I kept all my passwords under this which used a master pasword I did not save my passwords any were else and now can not get it to work supplying passwords for my logon site.

At first I had the stop/refresh buttons merged, which I hated so I tried putting spaces and things between them to stop their unholy union, but instead it has now made my refresh button dissapear in anger for not being allowed to see that dirty stop button! I cannot make it come back! Even if I put it on the toolbar in customize and it shows up, the moment I close it it has gone again.

the orange button displayed in all the feature aspects, does not show in the top of my menu. How do I access that feature? I currently have the Firefox 4.01 installed, why isn't it there automatically? have tried to access it through "tools" menu, not finding it there either! :-/

This error started appearing in Firefox 4.0.1 - it did not appear in previous versions. When I run in a debugger I can see that the error has been generated PRIOR to the struts action running that builds the web page being opened in the new window, so the error seems to be related to the window.open command and not to anything in the web page it is opening. Also, the error does not always occur - it seems to be somewhat intermittent.

I installed 4.01 on XP. Google Maps opens with satellite view. I cannot find toggle for maps. Street View is not available.

These still show up on IE8. VPike.com which is powered by Google Maps works fine.

Firefox has deleted the stus bar. When connected by https the security logo - a golden lock - isn't visble. It used to be in the status bar - clicking it revealed the Security Certificate. Where can I see the security logo and certificate?

When I open Firefox up, the search bar on the Main Firefox homepage is using yahoo for my searches. Is there a way I can pick a different search engine for the Main screen to use?

In order to get the latest version of fire fox I had to uninstall and reinstall but I lost my Elvis Presley theme how do I get it back? I tried to find Elvis themes and could not even find one.

When I first open Firefox 4.01, everything is fine. Since I have two monitors, I like to keep two windows open. When I open the second window, URLs do not show up in the location field, I can't refresh a page, there's an orange Firefox menu in the upper corner and a double window, the bookmarks don't show unless I do options/uncheck Bookmaks toolbar, then check it again.

I tried disabling all plugins, rebooted my computer -- nothing changed.

I hate this whole process of software bloat, to force me to update everything on my computer and then keep getting a new computer.

Every time I update Firefox it runs slower.

 Can I get earlier versions of Firefox from you?  If so, how?

When I click onto my home screen or onto the net from an html or web address in an email or on line file, I get the message specified in the question. (Preceded by a yellow! symbol). This has happened since I updated Firefox/Mozilla last week.
