Is there a way for me to make custom JavaScript code to add things, like a built-in music player, to Firefox? I think it would be pretty neat if users could code their own things to add to Firefox.

i had to rebuild my laptop computer and set up firefox on it, set up/turned on sync and the browser does NOT match the broswer srttings on the desktop where the sync comes from. bookmarked weblink icons only show up when a new tab is opened and vanish once a website is opened, icons for bookmarked weblinks on the bookmarks bar are generic wireframe globe-like-icons only, the custom firefox colour setup i struggled to create over the course of several weeks does not appear at all, nor does the dark theme. how then do i get this to -really- syc???

Hi, I lately found one of my old firefox os phones (Alcatel One Touch Fire C). I tried connecting it to the internet and updating it bus it said that there is no internet connection. Is there a way to update the phone?

My laptop had windows 10. I backed up both its drives, C and D, in their entirety to an external drive and installed Linux (pop!_os), but forgot to open the browser one last time and export current tabs, bookmarks, passwords, history and so on beforehand. I believe I should have the unexported files in my backup, as the Mozilla folders are there. What files do I look for in the backup of my drives and how do I transfer them to my current installation of Firefox?

After accidentally closing Thunderbird, two message I was working on were still open.

I went to Windows Start and clicked on Thunderbird and it opened but neither of my two email accounts were shown. I was able to get to Support by clicking on Help in one of the messages.

I tried "Set Up Your Existing Email Address" and received the message "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database." When I clicked on "Done", the message "Incoming server already exists."

When I click on "Account Setting", a screen appears that shows the accounts for both of my email addresses, and the settings appear to be as I remember them. Everything seems to be fine but Thunderbird simply won't load with my two email accounts.

A week or so ago I had to delete all of the Cookies on my computer to get another program to work. I don't know if the Cookies possibly needed for Thunderbird to load were deleted and that might be the problem.

It shouldn't be the cause of the problems I'm having now, but the Profile for Thunderbird is at the root of the C: directory: C:\0-FFox\Profiles. That was done to shorten the length of the file addresses.

My computer crashed while updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Unfortunately, I had someone look at it and he formatted my hard drive and only did a partial backup of files. I thought my Mozilla Firefox account was syncing, but it seems like it did not happen in a while. Does anyone know if there's any hope in recovering the lost tabs and bookmarks? Up until recently, when watching youtube tv, the mouse cursor would disappear on my screen. But now, no matter what I do, I can't get the cursor to disappear. I have contacted apple, I have clean the cashe, I've done a restart, update my computer, update my browser, power clean, nothing works. This issue only occurs while using youtube tv. It does not happen using youtube.

like a dick i tried to sort it out myself and i no nothing aboout computers i deleted loads of stuff thinking its old i dont need it from downloads...i was having truble with vids not playing just the spin thing or it does start but slow or judery ... now mozilla cant update ...as theres nothing there

Hello, I am working through setting up LibreWolf and running into a problem. The top of the Privacy and Security page displays a blue "caution box" that states:

"You’re using Resist Fingerprinting (RFP), which replaces some of LibreWolf’s fingerprinting protection settings. This might cause some sites to break."

I have read through the Learn more and believe I have followed the instructions which basically state to go to FireFox, set the privacy standard to Strict. Supposedly this action should allow the LibreWolf Enhanced Tracking Protection in Strict mode. I have completed the change to Strict on the FireFox page, but the blue caution box remains. I have closed and restarted both the LibreWolf and FireFox pages, cleared cookies, restarted the computer, rechecked to ensure the FireFox privacy settings haven't reverted. I am still getting the blue caution box. I'll appreciate your assistance. I might also note that I lost (and was forced to reenter all the above information when I copied and pasted the browser's troubleshooting data into the box below. That doesn't make a very pleasant opening experience... Thank you.

Unable to access Craigslist, Reddit, and similar sites due to SSL issues. Previously, I could click "Advance" and accept the risk to proceed, but this option is now missing. Clicking on "Advance" only displays a dropdown with an SSL error.

While I appreciate browsers prioritizing security, there should be an owner override. After all, I own my PC, and I should have the freedom to make choices, even if it means accepting potential security risks.

Did Firefox change this override option, or do we need to switch to another browser if we encounter this issue?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

Dashlane stopped auto filling in Firefox. Copy & paste doubles the info. Win10 64bit Pro. The app works in Chrome. It worked fine in Firefox until last week. I cleared all data & cookies, still doesn't work. The problem occurs on both https & http websites. I tried all the fixes on the Dashlane support site, but they don't have any effect in Firefox.

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

Firefox is my browser, and Outlook my email program. After years of troublefree access to Kickstarter, I now cannot link to the site, neither by Google search, nor by responding to an email link sent to me by Kickstarter. Instead, I get a message which reads:

'You are sending too many requests to Kickstarter at this time. Please contact support@kickstarter.com if you continue to see this error.'

I have contacted Kickstarter, but their response is that the problem probably lies with my browser. Do you have any idea why this problem should suddenly have appeared?

I had to reinstall windows and it wipe Firefox.i didn't know my password so I resetted it. Problem is it wiped all my data. Didn't know changing passwords for forefox would so this. Anyway I can get them back?
