Firefox is my defult browser which I use for 90% of the time - over the last week ebay has become vertually unuseable so having to use chrome as a backup which works fine tried using ccleaner which cleans the cash etc now lost all passwords and logins also as you can see spell check GB English fails to work many times for forms such as this inc freecycle etc etc - so help please from someone with the knowhow did install a spell checker as an plugin or extension some time ago dont recall what it was called but failed to work - so now heading into my 80's the grey matter fails to work as it did 30 years ago and could do with a little help thanks in advance.

i type in something in the text field, i click somewhere and go back to the previous page where i was typing and everything is reset. why? chrome and opera dont do that.

On a website I visit, Firefox is not showing icons. The attached picture shows how it looks in Fifefox on top and Edge on the bottom on the same PC. Things I have done so far:

1) Cleaned cookies and cache 2) Turned off all extensions and virus program 3) Turned off hardware acceleration

Firefox is not letting me access my Windows or Microsoft account. (using WIndows 11) The login popup is asking for School or Work email, which is not applicable to me. I input my usual login information and Microsoft pop-up says account does not exist. When I login to Windows, using a different desktop (Windows 10), I do not have login in issues.

What is the browser setting that needs to be updated.

Computer laptop PC reset to factory Windows 7 professional. Firefox reinstalled. All internet activities are running very well fast. The only exception is slot games which are running extremely slow in contrast to everything else. Can anyone help please?

Recently, almost overnight I am struggling to get any websites to load and have to use another browser for this. Is there any fix you can help with? Websites work in safari but not firefox.

As of this morning (new update 136.0.2) Some websites I use (NYT Crossword) do not display any content and some (cnn.com) are missing some content. Also Duck Duck Go search is broken. I have tried deleting all the browser data as well as shutting done firefox and reopening. All of the above still seem to work in Chrome.

Yesterday, Google News and G-Mail stopped working. Google search works and YouTube works. I have not changed any of my settings. Both of those Google services work on Chrome. On Firefox, either of them just cycle in the tab and do not open. I did not receive any error messages. Anyone have an idea how to fix this and what may have caused the issue? Thanks in advance for any assistance in rectifying this odd malfunction.

Now, it seems to ONLY affect deviantart.com I can't get past entering my user name and when I do, by actually typing in my user name, it says the password is bad.

NOW, If I type over what shows as my user name, then it allows me to get to the password, if I type the password in over the dots, it lets me in.

Microsoft Edge works just fine with the saved passwords.

BUT I prefer to use Firefox Browser for nearly everything.

I used to have an occasional sound problem with FF, usually felt when YT clips could not be heard any more. I mean to remember that it could be fixed (until next time) by restarting the file explorer somewhere in Task Manager - not a convincing solution but one I could live with.

Today, there's a new situation. Again, trigger was the missing YT sound in FF - not in fx Edge, and that the Task Manager trick didn't work (or maybe I restarted the file manager in the wrong tab?). Looking for a solution, I happened to see that the YT mute function in the FF tabs seems to be gone. However, other sounds are affected likewise. Also, I can't see them in Edge either. After various restarts (or maybe something else I did, instigated by the various instructions I found?), the sound is back.

However, while continuing to pursue possible solutions, I also happened to find that my browser is being 'administered by my organisation' - what ever that means (see two annexes). Who did that? I would say, this is not something I did, I would prefer to see it gone. But how? Will the other browsers (which I keep as a spare, and that I'm hardly familiar with) be likewise affected?

This is an equation with too many unknowns for my limited knowledge, are such effects known? Would there be an approved way-out for it?

PS I have checked https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1412934 especially the message posted by lazizakhmedov1014, and do not see this to apply to me - short of a reinstall - FYI

Using Firefox, when I enter Puritan.com in the search bar the browser takes me directly to Nestle.com (a foreign website). This does not occur when using the Chrome or Edge browsers.
