Hi friends, I need to watch Offline a series of professional videos from a website I study with. I'll be in a place with no internet for a while so I wish to know how to use the "work offline" modality to do that. Can the browser "remember" videos in the same way it remembers visited page?

I remember in the 90s / 2000s was possible to "save" pages to read Offline later on... Is that still possible?

I attached a screenshot of what appears whenever I click anywhere around any text. It acts like it's a place that I could type. Obviously not something that breaks the app, but incredibly annoying. Also only happens on Firefox.

What would I have to do to get this to stop? It surely can't be an intended interaction.

After running Import and Backup and selecting the date I want, the left column in the Library shows History, Downloads, Tags, and All Bookmarks. Under All Bookmarks, those folders have all the stuff I want in my Firefox browser. Currently my browser shows the folder names, but the folders are empty. How do I get the left column into my browser?

Right-clicking to close Firefox tab is broken!

How - just how- are you supposed to close tabs now?

You used to be able to right-click, then close the current tab or tabs to left and right, which was great, and I used it almost unconciously This useful functionality has disappeared. I am using Win 10 on a desktop PC - and I would really like to be able to close tabs when I have finished with them!

Why have you rendered Firefox almost unuseable!

One very frustrated Firefox user!

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

i posted a crash question yesterday and got an email asking me to post these the time is the same i assume because i hit "submit" at the same time for all of them i'm posting blind here because there was no link in the email back to my original post - maybe something else that should be fixed

Hello All I took my box to best buy because it was not working properly. They replaced the drive now I have no access to the passwords saved in firefox. Is there any way to get them back ? I have the old drive ! Any help greatly appreciated Gary

Yesterday, I put my laptop in hibernate mode like I always do. When I turned it back on, I was greeted by Microsoft asking me to install Windows 11. Of course, I declined the offer several times. I then noticed that everything I had opened was now closed. So I opened everything up again, including Firefox.

My laptop has a wide-gamut display, and colours look oversaturated by default. It's one "feature" of this computer that I don't like. So, anyway, I had to fiddle with the color management settings in Firefox to get page elements like images and text not to look blindingly saturated. Aside from videos still being unchanged, the settings worked great for many months. Now, suddenly after this push for Windows 11, the color management has seemingly gone back to what it was like before I got it looking right. Nothing I change has any effect. Change settings. Restart browser. Nothing. Repeat that process until I'm ready to launch my laptop out the window.

I closed out and then re-opened Firefox. I refreshed the browser. I rebooted the system. Nothing. All color management settings don't take any effect.

Firefox has started making a piercing high-pitched screech when the "save image" and "file update" panels appear. This is a confirmation or alert sound I suppose. It occurs when saving an image from a right-click menu and when downloading a file. Formerly Firefox used the system default sound for this, and that sound is still working in other programs for similar operations.

How can I fix this? Or alternatively how can I disable the sound during such operations in Firefox (or alternatively system-wide)?

When scrolling down I choose to read an article in a new window. When I open the new window, on the right side, a pop up window appears titled “Join the Conversation” or “More from Daily Express” blocking some of the article’s words. How can I stop this pop up window from appearing? Thanks.

This is my first post so bare with me.  :-)

We are deploying the 32-bit version of the Firefox Browser to 4 700 clients and the 64-bit version to only 8 clients; all clients on a 64-bit Windows 10 environment. We will migrate to Windows 11 22H2 this year. The manager for the 8 clients says he wants the 64-bits version just because it's...64-bits. No other reason.

I've read that the 64-bit version can not handle Java, Media Players like VLC and mayby some other plugins. Is that still so?

What is the main reason TODAY for using 64-bit Firefox Browser instead of 32-bit, except for the use of 4 GB+ RAM?

I have Firefox set to "view PDF files in Firefox", but this is not happening with sites like Capital One and Consumer's Energy. these sites are just saving directly to my downloads folder even though I 1) Want to view the file first and 2) if it is going to save a flle, it is set up to ask where the file should be saved.

Neither of these things are happening even though I have them set up correctly in Settings.

Before the recent 1-2 updates, pdfs,pictures and .torrent meta files used to get saved in temp folder which I LOVED very much. Recently these are getting save in my download folder instead of saving in the temp folder.

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

Please assist me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.

Nie mogę zalogować się na konto Gmail poprzez stronę www.google.pl w przeglądarce Firefox. Przy próbie zalogowania się przez www.google.pl pojawia się komunikat Bad Request Error 400. Ten sam problem występuje, gdy muszę potwierdzić logowanie do innych stron internetowych za pomocą konta Google. Po prostu nie da się nigdzie zalogować. Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. Moderator Firefox odpowiedział -"This does not sound like an issue with Firefox, but is something that the Google support team should be able to help you with" Na stronie www.google.com pojawia się ikona zalogowania, ale i tak nie wszystkie usługi związane z Google są dostępne. Niedostępne są wtedy — Google konto, Google Play, Gmail, Meet, Chat, Dysk, Kalendarz, Zdjęcia, - to tylko te najważniejsze niedziałające." Pliki cookie są włączone. 25.12.2023 ten problem nie istniał. Próbowałam przywrócić Firefox na wcześniejszą datę instalacji, ale to nic nie dało. Rozszerzenia i wtyczki odinstalowałam. Firefox was lagging everywhere: scrolling, switching folders in bookmarks, switching windows, switching tabs, opening settings, scrolling in settings...just everywhere. So I tried downgrading to v. 113. After downgrading via the ling in settings it still showed v. 114. I uninstalled firefox entirely and downloaded the loader for v 112. I installed it and it went thru whole install process to the point of asking to close and start Firefox. It didn't start. When I clicked on the icon it gave me a prompt that it didn't point to anything and asked if I wanted to delete it. I looked in program files folder but didn't find a folder for Firefox or Mozilla. I installed the developer edition and it worked but I don't want dark dev ed. Please help!
