Firefox won't stay downloaded to my computer. I am having to download it multiple times, especially if my computer has updates.

On a separate note, when it does actually stay on my computer over night, it never keeps me signed in to my Firefox account. I have to log in to it daily to have my bookmarks and passwords.

Also, it never remembers the theme I have picked for it. I would love some advice on how to fix this.

I've read through a ton of articles, and I can't seem to find a fix.

My Firefox version is 86.0 on Mac. OS Version is 11.2.2 Big Sur.

I found that basically all color rendered in Firefox is more vibrant than Safari and Chrome, maybe Firefox doesn't handles color management right and renders sRGB in full P3 color space, lead to a over saturate color for almost every element on webpage.

Hopes firefox can fix this soon, I love the efficiency and privacy features on Firefox, This is the only bit I found a little uncomfortable.

HI I am a trainer and web developper and in all trainings and as a designer I am using the Firefox Inspector. This morning, suddenly the menu under EXTRAS is not showing anymore the "INSPECTOR". Don't know what has changed! I installed Firefox again, no change! I know, that I can still activate the inspector via OPTION COMMAND C but this is not very intuitive for my trainings! Turned on my imac this morning and the Firefox browser gave a "Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE" for every page I tried to open. I have reinstalled the browser and that one is working properly. However, when I try to add Dashlane to it, the old browser opens and the same error message is displayed making it impossible to use Dashlane on the newer version of the browser. How can I get rid of the version that opens up when I try to install Dashlane on the working browser?

For a number of days now I can not log into Scotia Bank online but I can with Safari so I know the site is not down. Once I try to enter I get this msg Sorry, we couldn't complete your request Sign in to online banking or our mobile banking app to continue. With an under construction icon. I have tried deleting recent history and have restarted Firefox but no change I love Firefox and it is my goto browser but something is wrong here. I have also tried to enter using firefoc from a different computer....same issue.

When I select the bookmark, Firefox does nothing, apparently.

iPhone works just fine on sites that Firefox won't access, so it's not the modem or the ISP.

fire fox tabs not opening. Unfortunately there is a You tube video playing and I can not access it turn it off. the sound interferes with any other video that is played can any one help me with this

also  I have a presentation via zoom and the video will be playing in the back ground. it will be noisy

The strict protection mode in Firefox has been really great for me so far. My understanding is that it creates a separate "cookie jar" for each website. Knowing this, I was wondering if Facebook container is still needed to stop Facebook tracking. I never visit the Facebook website and I don't have a Facebook account. I also use Ublock and Privacy badger, if that makes a difference.

Firefox will offer to save usernames and passwords, but then does not remember them in the future. Attempting to import existing data from another browser into Lockwise prompts a request to set a primary password first. Attempting to set a primary password (which is currently not set), yields the error message "Unable to change primary password."

I have discovered an add-on called Tabliss, which changes your new tab to a photo and doesn't require any permissions. Could there be any risk to installing this add-on?

Since I have Big Sur, all tabs from the last session reopen every time I open Firefox although I disabled that in the preferences, deleted the history and the cookies, deinstalled and resinstalled Firfox and restarted the Mac (iOS Big Sur). Nothing helped.

For the sake of improvements all my plug ins have been erased/deleted by Mozilla. I have lost the Password Mgr, especially. [removed] idiots, I am done with this. Switching back to Safari, a way more stable browser. [removed]!

When I try to print something from google drive it launches the firefox (?) printer dialogue. The I click next, and get this screen requiring me to download it before going to the HP printer dialogue. Can I skip this part, the downloads get so full!

I recently purchased a Mac M1, coming from a Windows / Linux environment. After installing Firefox, it requires an icon on my desktop to run. Then, every time I reboot, Firefox no longer recognizes me. My pins, history, etc. are all gone and I have to re-organize everything again.

I seem to remember that, prior to Firefox 89, there was a customize touch bar button in the menu, under Firefox. After updating to Firefox 89, I can't find the button anymore. I looked in the menu and in settings. I tried looking online.

First I was stuck in an upgrade loop where Firefox would ask me to restart to install the upgrade but then isn't upgraded on restart. So I manually downloaded latest version from the website and installed it. Now after installing I lost my current session (opened tabs). I have enabled sync so I can still see the synced tabs in my Firefox account under my device, but I don't know how to open all tabs from a particular device.

How do I open all synced tabs from a particular device in Firefox 89 on macOS 11.3.1?

In the current version (89.0) the shortcuts for the context menu are not working anymore (i.e. right click + L for "Copy Link"). I had to downgrade to 88.0.1 to make it work again. Is there any possibility to get those shortcuts back in the actual version?
