in my country; porn/political/ site is blocked! is there an add-on to prevent that? ( no windows programs please! ) they block it if the URL or the name of the Tab have prohibited word, ex: pornstar or communism. is there an add-on to cover these two things?

In older versions of Firefox I could right click on a URL and then select "Open Link in new Window" and a new window would open to display the information. In newer versions, V5 or later, if I select "Open Link in New Tab" the new information will be displayed in a new tab, if I click on "Open Link in New Window" all I get is a new window with two blue bars across the top a "New Tab" and an empty window, no information is displayed.

When I ran Firefox the second time a tab containing the firefox plug-in assistant was on top. The first thing on that tab was to update the Adobe Flash player. I did this and during the installation Flash player required that I close Firefox. When I restarted Firefox the plugin assistant tab was not there.

I noticed that there were several plugins that needed to be updated. I would like to find that tab or the plug-in assistant.

Hello. Resently I installed IMVU. And with it I got a IMVU toolbar. Wich i didnt asked for. And now i cant remove it, becuse the toolbar is not avalibale for 6.0.1 but yet I have the toolbar. And I don't want it to be there. I've tried everything I can to remove this. But nothing works. What shall I do?

Using Firefox for months with full page screen on my laptop when suddenly it changed to a split screen while I was on an AARP game site and it stays that way now - making it useless by cutting off pertinent info when I search for other sites. The left side stays on ther AARP site but the right moves to a new site as I browse.

After I installed the lated version of Firefox, I noticed that there's are several new features. One of them pops-up when you right-click a browser on the taskbar. You get a few options of opening a new tabs or new browsers. And a list of regular visited pages. I was wondering how i can remove those visited pages? And that i don't get that feature anymore!

windows media player stop working after upgraded from Firefox 6.02 to Firefox 7.01 yesterday. the plugin for win media player is already installed and working fine in FF 6.02 before upgrade. i have Google this issue without any result so far. so i reinstalled the old version 6.02, until fix is found.

anyone has the similar issue with Firefox 7.01 in Win 7 32 bit ?

I had FF running fully OK, but then tried to upgrade to FF9. After downloading the FFicon was crossed over, an a dialogbox said that my system did not support this version. So I threw this away and downloaded version 6, but this still has the crossed over thing, and won't open. How can I get a version of Firefox running on my Mac? Everything else works perfectly.

I have tried to force Firefox to update using "About Firefox" but nothing happens. Also when I go into "About Firefox" is says that I am on the "release update channel". What does this mean?

When I open an new window, Firefox does not open with my homepage, but with the last page I was on before closing the browser.

Why is this happening? How can I remedy the problem?

How do I disable the Shift+Enter hotkey when typing an address? I misclick sometimes and it is very annoying, I can find the .com hotkey in about:config but cannot find the .net one. Thank you for your help!

When I try to use the in-browser Add-ons Manager, I can never progress beyond the "Loading..." phase. I still have the Download, Search and Options available. I have waited 5-10 minutes to see if the loading finishes. So far, it has not. I do not remember what theme I am running. The only add-ons I remember are NoScript, KeyScrambler, and Privacychoice. All my add-ons and themese should be up-to-date as of 8/31/2011.
