I've got a new computer I am setting up from scratch, and though I have set FF to sync settings, I'm still having to customize a lot. My bookmarks toolbar is crowded again with icons and I'd like those to go away. I don't mind other icons staying around on the tabs--that does help me navigate faster. I had this set up before, but lost the setting when I refreshed Firefox.

Recently, firefox started opening two identical tabs on middle mouse click instead of one. This behavior is not consistent, but happens more often than not. I already checked if the mouse is not faulty and submitting two clicks instead of one, but it is not. Also trying Chrome and Edge, both work fine, and only firefox does this.

I am running FF Dev edition v93.0b9 (64-bit)

Any tips are appreciated, and while I know this has been asked before, that question came in 2014 and was supposedly fixed by an update.

It seems version 93 has introduced a method of reducing bandwidth by disconnect tabs from websites, but reconnects upon selecting the tab. This is causing havoc when I am logged into several websites. Sites tabs that do not have focus force me to log back in when selecting the tab.

I am not concerned in saving bandwidth.

How do I disable this feature?

During my work i often need to have massive amount of tabs, and want to switch between them quickly. And i cant find solution to tab size change, aside of "workarounds" that are "planned to be shit down". Is there a way to do it on permanent basis? I don`t mind those tabs be wide as they are now (although prefer them to be smaller, about 6x times) if i can, for example, have second and third string of tabs. That should be sufficient. But still i cant find a way to do so. I also saw mention of "user feedback" in another thread (currently locked) and would be willing to participate in said feedback.

Help!!! I exported my passwords today to a *.csv file. I have been trying to import them to the same brouser. I have checked the box to allow me to work with the *cvs file (I think), but have not been able to import from the (backup) file I made.

When I activate the 'allow import of passwords' from a *cvs file on Firefox, my only choice is to import a *cvs file from Microsoft Edge, Google, or other (different) browser. My file is an up-to-date export of the passwords, etc, in a *.cvs file today (5 October 2021)

The file is from the current browser which is up-to-date and *.cvs file. It is an export from Firefox.

I need my passwords to do my homework, etc.

Please help me! I've spent hours on this already!!!

My logins in Firefox Lockwise keep disappearing. I can sync from my iPhone to get them back. But they continue to disappear on my computer. What can I do to make it stop disappearing?

Need to restore some missing bookmarks after upgrading to windows 10 also they are out of order.I am not real good on laptop so please give real detailed instructions I tried importing but not working

A recent update changed the spacing of links in my favorites folders. It would be great if you could include a spacing option for the user. I absolutely hate the double spacing. It's horrible.

On the rumble website, videos are slow to load (10-17 sec) when I'm logged in. If I log out, videos will load instantaneously. At first i though this was a rumble.com issue but then tested with latest version of chrome MS Edge the issue doesn't happen.

Firefox just updated itself to 93.0 and now suddenly I have a big black border around the searchbar when it is focused. The userchrome "#searchbar { border: none !important; }" gets rid of the white border when the searchbar is not focused, but (just a stab in the dark) the userchrome "#searchbar[focused="true"] { border: none !important; }" does nothing when it is focused. How can I get rid of it? (It can be seen in the right-hand part of the attached image.)

Mozilla must be run by 20 somethings who don't realize many computer users have been using them for longer than they've been alive. As a result we are needing to be able to change the WAY TOO SMALL text in the menu bar, drop downs, tabs etc. Now that Font Size and Color Changer no longer works, is there a way to increase those fonts? If not, why don't they add that feature to the next version?

Is there a way to increase those fonts or do I need to go back to Safari?

Firefox opens displays two panels, i.e. a site plus site in tab after click on following url https://schmidt-toepke.de/Younox%20Marketing/index.html

While using yahoo mail (reading the emails) . gets intermittent ' no internet connection ' however the internet is working very well . If you wait a few minutes it will clear and can access the next email. I have been long time user of Firefox with no problems but this has been happening the past 2 months. If I go to microsoft Edge no problems. I'm using norton security but that has been several years , I have deleted cache and cookies.

When using Instagram for Desktop random images fail to load

When the website is first accessed all is well, but once refreshed some images and profile pictures are greyed out and a brief description of the image in words appears rather than the image it's self.

On the occasions this happens the cross appears where the reload page button is

The issue is not replicated on either Waterfox, Chrome or Edge so I can only assume that it is a setting within Firefox that is causing the issue which is annoying as Firefox is my default browser !

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I'm not disappointed that Firefox no longer has a "cut, copy, paste" function that is easily accessible and user friendly. I don't understand why this was eliminated. I" ask that it be restored to the drop down menu.

If I sign in to my Firefox account, (like I am signed in now) on a family member's device, how secure is that? Would any of my personal information show or save on that second device? I do not sync, my info is only on my device.
