firefox had me refresh browser and it updated or so,ething... and all my login user information including passwords were dumped... i have old user data but cant figure out how to copy login and key files from old user data file to my current/only profile

Widows 11...firefox not working... uninstalled and tried to re-install.. the install terminates prematurely with the message: The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found......

Dear All:

Suddenly FF starts but shows only a new tab without any content. I can fill in a URL but no reaction. Settings doesn't open. Close tab through X Restart FF. no new tab but message: FF is already running but is not responding. The old FF process must be closed to open in a new window. Click to close. a new empty tab pops up without starting FF manually. Close through X Restart brings the same message as above - no window. Have to end FF in Task Manager.

Uninstalled and reinstalled three times - no change.

I'm using Windows 10 and Avast One, Firewall checked - is open for FF.

I have recently installed Linux Mint and it came with Firefox out of the box, and I decided to try it out, but I can't, for the life of me find a way to transfer my Opera passwords there. I do have Opera installed right now.

Uninstall for Firefox does not work. 

When I try to uninstall a "refresh" window opens.

I do not want to refresh, just uninstall.

Whatever process I try yields the same result.

Went to update to 105.0.1 on a windows 8.1 machine. Update failed, removed previous version and now will not even reinstall running the installer. Installer returns setup.exe Application error. unable to start correctly.

I am constantly annoyed by the ever present "notification" to update Firefox to the latest version. There is no easy way to get rid of the nagging notice. PLEASE NOTE ::: I DID DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE MY PC TO THE NEWEST VERSION WHICH DID NOT LIKE AT ALL !!!!

So, I returned to the latest version I had been using and all is well. EXCEPT : I AM CONSTANTLY NAGGED TO UPDATE. WHICH I DID, DID NOT LIKE, AND DO NOT PLAN T DO IT AGAIN.

You need to add an option for user like me who have done what you asked and did not care for the result. IF YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL LEAVE, PERHAPS YOU ARE RIGHT ... IF YOU GIVE THEM THAT CHOICE. I PREFER TO SEE THE CHOICE TO KEEP WHAT i HAVE AND NOT GIVE IN TO THE LATEST WHIM. So, if your product is so good, why not let us decide to stay with the version we are using and not be nagged into a new one we will not like. I have Firefox 105.0.1 on Windows 10 Pro and I cannot import Logins and Passwords from a file. Even with the signon property to TRUE, the passwords just don't populate. Is there something else I should be doing, or is there a fix for this. I have quite a few users to migrate and creating Firefox accounts to sync passwords is not preferable with users who need a lot of hand-holding. Thanks!

Whenever i restart Firefox, my download history gets deleted, but the downloaded files in the file manager don't. I have tried creating new profiles and altering my settings, nothing really works, its the same for all the files, and for all the new profiles i create too. Is there a permanent solution?

I want to install a copy of the current version of Firefox on a Win 10 computer that already has an ESR copy of Firefox running on it, without overwriting any of the existing Firefox configurations, that can be run independently of the first install.

How do I do this?

I'm trying to download Firefox, but it simply refuses to open. I've only gotten it to open twice, when I downloaded it from the Microsoft Store (which still doesn't work unless I've absolutely cleared my computer of any trace of the Firefox I download from there), but when I tried to open it back up again after turning my laptop off/putting it to sleep, it didn't open.

  I install it from this website otherwise.  I'm on Windows 10 with a laptop, and I've already checked that my storage isn't the issue (I've had it bug apps out on me one too many times).  I've uninstalled everything my computer would tell me exists in relation to Firefox before reinstalling it, but it still doesn't open.
  And when I say it doesn't open, I don't mean it loads slowly or doesn't pull any website up.  I mean for half a second, I see the outline of a window (sometimes windowed, sometimes not, usually with the minimize, windowed, and x on it but not 100% of the time), occasionally a black inside, before it's gone.  I check my running apps and it's not there.  I've tried running it as Admin, making it my default browser, trying to find if there's a 'fix' option for it (as far as I'm tracking, there isn't), running compatibility troubleshooting, restarting my computer, refreshing when it asks me to try, reinstalling when that doesn't work, and properly more I'm forgetting about.
  I really like Firefox, genuinely, I do, I used to use it on an old computer, but I can't open it and therefore can't use it.
  When I opened it off the Microsoft Store, I did sync my Chrome information to it, but I believe I deleted that (I may be mistaken, though), and even if that did pose a problem it still didn't work when I originally tried to download it off of here.  Sorry for the long(?) question, I'm just trying to cover every detail I can think to cover.
  (Warning, I'm a little bad with following detailed instructions, so if any help could be simplified if possible that would help me a lot, thank you for any help anyone can provide!)
