Is there a way to make backups of my session every 30 for example? The sessionstore-backups folder only saves the last session... I'd to have it saved often and not automatically deleted.

The latest Firefox update has made it impossible for me to log into https://www.discover.com/ I consistently receive the following error message: "Your account cannot currently be accessed. Outdated browsers can expose your computer to security risks. To get the best experience on Discover.com, you may need to update your browser to the latest version and try again. For questions, please contact us at 1-800-347-7769. We're always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Pop up blocker in the address bar has been manually turned off and antivirus VPN has been manually turned off. Discover has told me the problem is with the browser not their website. I can access the account via one of the less secure browsers (edge) but am not comfortable with that company and would prefer this glitch being fixed if possible. I have an iMac with Sonoma 14.3.1 with Firefox 115.9.1 esr . It is for personal use, not for a business. I just learned that there is another Firefox version (124.0.2) which is not esr....

Which version should I use and why?

If I should use the "normal" version, how do I replace the esr version with the "normal" one ?

I started using Chrome/Brave in order to be able to use profiles because I did not find that feature in Firefox. I really try to get away from google, so I searched extensively and found out: profiles do indeed exist as a feature in Firefox. My question now is: why are there no buttons or easily accessible settings (for example in connection with sync-settings) for using profiles and why does one need to type in strange things in the address bar to access the feature and even to start another instance of firefox with another profile?

My use case is this: I have a private profile, one for my job and one for union stuff which I don't want to mix into my job profile. Yet, on my home computer I'd like to have all three profiles running simultaneously. Sometimes one or more profiled windows have been closed down and I need to open a new window with a specific profile. I understand that I need to open a tab, type "about:profiles" and then scroll through a page with large amounts of techy information on all profiles and press the last one of four buttons under that profile.

I'm quite tech-savvy and typing "about:profiles" is doable for me, but it seems absurd, given that the feature is not sci-fi and is well visually accessible in other browsers (Chrome and Brave: rightclick on profilesymbol and choose from simple list).

Recently Firefox has stopped opening the Australian Super Member Login page following the insert of Username and Password from Roboform (My Password Manager). I do not have the same issue on Chrome or Edge. I have reinstalled Firefox hoping that this might solve the issue. Nothing changed.

When I attempt to watch videos on YouTube, the playback is consistently choppy. This occurs regardless of the video’s quality setting, and it happens both on Wi-Fi and cellular data. The video frequently pauses to buffer, even though the loading bar indicates that the video has already buffered up to a certain point. Additionally, I notice a significant drop in video quality, and the screen sometimes freezes while the audio continues to play. The problem persists across different videos and channels, suggesting it is not specific to any particular content.

i recently made a firefox account synced the data cuz i was getting a new pc. Then when i went to login with the same account none of my bookmarks, passwords or anything was there. It just gave me a fresh account.

Since v128 update my right click menu contains all possible items and doesn't work. For example, right clicking a video and changing playback speed has no effect.

I already tried running troubleshoot mode to no avail. Tried manually add-ons to no avail. I even uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

v127 worked fine. Please investigate.

Past few times now every single time i boot up my PC, Firefox instantly opens itself and immidietly redirects me to a add. It's been casinos etc, i've disabled my addons just in case that is what was causing the issue also i do not have Firefox set to instantly open on PC start up either yet it does for some reason.

My old 'Legion' laptop had my (I'd guess) open tabs history from late June! I now have a new laptop, and I logged into Firefox, and didn't see all history from June. I need those 'previous' sessions... Where are They??

Ich nutze Firefox weil ich keine Werbung/Tracking/Span sehen will. Nach dem Update auf V128 ist unter den Datenschutz-Einstellungen die Option "Websites erlauben, datenschutzfreundliche Werbe-Messungen durchzuführen" aktiv.
