When I open a page from Fox I get a message in a ribbon" Firefox is installing components needed to play the audio or video on this page. Please try again later." Really everything seems to work and there is an x to close the ribbon. Just wondering if I need to adjust any settings. Thanks

Firefox has long been my browser of choice on all platforms. I am switching from Windows to Linux and have recently found problems playing some videos on the Linux version of Foxfire. I don’t know if it’s a matter of having the right codec or something else. The videos play with Chromium on Linux and with Firefox on my Android smartphone. Hello, I noticed that some plugins that claim of MPL 1.1 License is actually close source, furthermore, some of those even have “Recommended” tag. Since this is a big misleading considering these plugins actually have very broad permissions, I consider those plugins as abuse. I reported them 1 or 2 months ago but no response. I don't want to list those names out in case it was just the author selected a wrong selection, but i do believe that the author should correct that, and the more important thing is Mozilla should check this more carefully.

I would like to complete overhaul my pc again and for this matter Im quite dependant on my firefox saves of cookies / bookmarks etc.

the only issue is, the password i created using my account years ago is something i have absolutely no idea of anymore, ive been on the same computer for ages so luckily i never needed it again to sign into firefox, so you can probably see my issue here.

Is there any way that i can provide enough evidence that this is my account that i can finally reset this password and be able to reset my pc?

When attempting to access or refresh my online brokerage page I get a white spinning circle. It seems to go on for 30 seconds or so. While it is present the page is dysfunctional. I had recently changed some settings or a 3rd part program made some changes. I know not which setting or other may cause the spinning circle to be evoked. There is a break in the circle at about 3:18...that's the part that spins.

Past few times now every single time i boot up my PC, Firefox instantly opens itself and immidietly redirects me to a add. It's been casinos etc, i've disabled my addons just in case that is what was causing the issue also i do not have Firefox set to instantly open on PC start up either yet it does for some reason.

I installed mozilla firefox on my desktop computer 5 years ago At the time, my email address was davsue@myfairpoint.net This email no longer exists my new email address is davsue123@gmail.com I signed out of firefox I want to sign in again It sends me a confirmation email to davsue@myfairpoint.net that doesn't exist Can't retrieve the email to verify my account Now what? haven't been able to set davsue123@gmail.com as a secondary email
