Sorry to trouble you, i recently un-pinned mozila from the task bar by mistake, as its my main browser i re-pinned it from the icon on my desk top, now i have lost all my logins and passwords and some recently saved bookmarks. Would there be a way of recovering them, again sorry to trouble you. Nigel

Hello, Firefox is set as my default browser. However, when I click on a link in an email or website, it always open in Chrome. I cannot get it to open in Firefox. thanks for your help.

I have the same problem https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1421734 it's not a pdf. If I want to print a shipping label from eBay using Firefox nothing happens if I try to make it bigger. I can make it smaller but it is too small to begin with. If I use Brave or Edge (using the same printer) it works I can adjust it and make it bigger up to 200 %. I have already reset the printer options in Firefox and tried when disabling all add-ons.

Hello dear Support-Team!

After updating Firefox 118.0.2, I loose all my pinned an not pinned tabs! After restarting the updated version, all pinned tabs shows a globe-symbol and the not-pinned tabs where empty. After an additional restart of firefox ALL tabs are gone.

What I tied so far: restoring the Firefox-profile from a backup -> no success. uninstalling firefox and install a fresh (newest) version and restoring the profile -> no success.

The only way to get the tabs back, is to uninstall firefox, restore the profile from backup and install the old version 118.0.2!!

Is there any reason, why this update fails? Is there any way to successful update Firefox, without loosing all my tabs??

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Time to stop using Mozilla products? what the devil is going on with the Mozilla staff? Hard to provide a contribution when products don't work!

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

If you type "% [search term]" in your search bar, it will try to search your existing tabs for any tabs that fit the criteria. The problem is, firefox is making odd decisions on what to display in the search results. I was under the impression that Firefox would prioritize the most frequently used tabs in the search results, but this no longer appears to be true, or the criteria used is more complex than that.

As an example, in the attached screenshot, i am searching for tabs with the keyword "Stellaris". But for some reason, Firefox refuses to show me any reddit tabs with "Stellaris" in them, and is instead showing a list of tabs that are much less frequently used.

Is there any way to get the search results to prioritize the most frequently used tabs, change what shows up in the search results, etc? I know i can type "stellaris reddit" to narrow down the search results, but i would prefer that the search results prioritize the msot frequently used tabs.

When I click on a bookmark instead of bring up the website I wanted , it brings up a completely different site. Then my TotalAV pops up saying it stopped a malware called here.selectofmychoices.com, it does this with every one. it only does this with firefox.

Help. Ionos is my website host. My site works just as I want it to using Firefox with popup images. Problem is when I look at same site using Google Chrome nine different popups on lines 828-870 further down page do not popup those popups like lines 455, 460,467, 477, 675 and 685 do when rolling mouse over highlight words when I use Firefox. We need to configure our firefox settings on mac to use with a zebra printer & lightspeed label printing. We have worked with zebra support and lightspeed support, and the firefox version 122.0 does not let us "save" the about:config settings needed to print. We put them in, but it reverts back and doesnt let us save the steps defined in this section of the article:

I never really used firefox password before, I decided not to use the master password function, but today Pocket was not opening, i was prompted for password, so I changed my firefox password, and now icon at top of screen says my firefox account is disconnected? Help! .

As I am a corporate website administrator and I use an ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 3840x1600 pixels, I need to be able to run firefox with window size of full HD to verify the compatibility of the site for common displays.

How can I ensure that the Firefox window always starts at this size?

In the case of Chrome, you just add the parameter -window-size=1920,1080

Unfortunately, this solution does not work here (so it worked in older versions).

I found some plugins that promised this, but none worked correctly.

I find the option to set a default size to be very basic and essential and prevents me from switching from Chrome to Firefox.

i made a custom firefox colour setup for my desktop machine, and it doesn't have any option to save it- because of this, on my laptop which is synchronized to my desktop's firefox settings, it is not showing up at all and if i go to firefox colour it isn't there for me to add. so how do i DO this???

i do not want to maker my custom setup public so it is not available to all, it is my own setup using some of my own artwork which i do NOT want made public on the internet.

there MUST be a way to save it however and let my laptop's firefox also display it,m yes???

and on that topic, why isn't it just automatically synchronizing when everything else does?
