I just installed a few new drivers, which apparently caused my laptop to restart, but for some reason when I oppened Firefox again, it loaded a session from a month ago, not the session I left this morning. I looked in the Firefox/Profiles directory and couldn't find any recent sessions there either. Why has Firefox lost my session, and is there any way I can get it back?

Hi I am losing all my windows and tabs within these windows when Firefox does updates.

I lost 3 lots of windows with tabs just before Christmas 2022 and about two months ago they all appeared again after an update, I was so happy, then about 1 hour ago I found another update was done today 28-5-2023 and now I have lost them all again. But another group of 2 windows including tabs that I lost about two & a half month ago turned up instead.

Are you able to help me find the disappeared windows/tabs and be able to keep these windows & tabs until I am finished with them, it is very annoying

I've been searching for a way to hide the tab bar and reclaim that space. Some sources on the web set to change some settings in about:config and edit userChrome.css, but this did not work. This question links to an add-on to do it, but the link is broken:
