I just want to stop a piece of my own history from being shown on "Firefox Suggestion", which was made with a firefox browser on my previous device and is relatively private.(I know I can do this by modifying "Search Suggestions->Show search suggestions ahead of browsing history in address bar results", but I would like to preserve the function itself). That device is permanently unapproachable, and so is that browser. I tried "Clear recent history -> Everything", but it didn't work as expected and that is still shown. I think clear all my history(not only those made on this currently used device) may help, how can I do it?

I want to disable media controls overlay without disabling media keys. I wandered in config but couldn't prevail with said subject. Its a nice feature unless I have to stop a quite few times then its just a blockage for my much needed viewspace.

I use the numerical keypad frequently and need to use "/" often, but that key shares the shortcut for "quick find" which I then have to exit and click back into whatever text box I was typing in before I can continue. The alternative is to continually move my hand back and forth to the other "/" shared with "?". Both are annoying and unnecessarily take extra time.

I would very much like to disable the keyboard shortcut attached to the "/" key on the numerical keypad.

When in Google Sheets in Firefox a single scroll click of the mousewheel takes me to the very bottom right of the sheet. The scroll wheel is then disabled vertically and horizontally.

Error is verified for all Google Sheets. Problem does not exist when accessing these sheets in Incognito Mode.

Error does not occur when accessing these sheets in Chrome.

Sheets is all but unusable without mouse scrolling capability.

Had to click the text field 3 times just to write title to this post because I made a post on Twitter that's getting a bunch of interaction. Notifications take the cursor focus away from the text input field whether that's on a site or the search bar or the address bar. Very annoying. Windows 10, latest version of Firefox, but it also happened with the previous version. Please help!

I don't have the words to describe what's happening here. Please see screenshot. Frequently when using Firefox- since the latest update, it's up-to-date on up-to-date Macbook Sonoma 14.4- this starts happening, when I move around my cursor, the images get all funky, it seems to be pulling in visual information from multiple tabs. Restarting the app clears it out, until the next time it happens. Any thoughts on this?

After installing Update 123.0.1, History and Bookmarks no longer show up in the search bar even though they're still checked in my Search settings. What could be causing this? Thanks!

Would it be possible to remove URL parameters "__cft__[0]" and "__tn__"? Because https://www.facebook.com/PilsetaCilvekiem/posts/pfbid0EqFQ5TwTkHeowowTc7ArY8T7ATCjxXvWiUzXJeDxCjCcQHFwt4h8PK9eJaEiaYiml opens the same post.

Using the arm64 version of Firefox on a Surface Pro X causes several graphical issues. These issues started either with a update of Firefox or drivers.

What can be done to report this issue and help it getting fixed?

Within the last few days, I've noticed I'm losing functionality in certain online apps through the Firefox browser.

When I'm on Instagram, I can't check direct messages: the function stalls out without resolving.

In Gmail, I'm unable to embed an image in an email. I can attach it like normal, but the embed button doesn't respond.

In Starry AI, I'm unable to use any menu options at all, I'm stuck at being logged into the account and can't logout, check my settings, or request help. I receive this message: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)"

What can I do to fix this issue?

I recently installed openSUSE TW on my new laptop, and as part of the default Firefox install it bookmarked many openSUSE websites. I removed them from my bookmarks, but they still remain in the address bar recommendations every time I click/open the address bar (see pic). I have cleared the all time history, I have double checked to make sure that they are no longer bookmarked, and the only way I can get them to disappear is by completely disabling "Shortcuts" in Settings -> Address Bar — Firefox Suggest -> Shortcuts => Untick. I'd prefer being able to just click the address bar and click on the websites I frequently visit. This has happened in the past, but I thought I just removed them from the bookmarks and the links went away. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi all, I've been having this issue for a while. I am unable to view streams on YouTube or Twitch (Twitch will show streams as offline, whereas YouTube will not even show streams), and I have encountered a new issue where YouTube allows only 360p on videos. I have used the HTML5 Video Capability Test and seem to have an issue in that department (images attached). Even in troubleshooting mode, the issue persists. Any help is appreciated.

On a fresh install of openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240313 with KDE Plasma 6 (Wayland), the X button in the upper right corner of the screen does not allow you to click it when the pointer is in the upper right corner of the screen. Default behavior in KDE is to just let you close the window anyways even though the button itself is circular.

Is there any way to change this?

On my computer Firefox ask for the master password every time at startup. On other computers in my family, Firefox only ask for the Master Password when accessing a site with a password. I tried : - to disable than reenable Master Password - start in SafeMode without success. How can I solve my issue ? Thanks in advance for your help

I used to click on a bookmark to open a new window and load the link, but now it's loaded directly into the original window, how do I revert back to the previous state?

Hi there - Every website seems to come up in English, ie Firefox seems to be translating other languages automatically. (My version is Firefox for Mac 123.01 64-bit.) I am wondering how I can prevent automatic translation of websites. I have had a look in preferences etc, but I do not see anything there to prevent automatic translation. I have tried to download the newest VDH Companion App (via the link on the github.com webpage) Seven (yes, 7) times and every time the download Fails or I get "Zero bytes". I tried to contact "Support" but there is only a Support Forum and nobody else has posted this as an issue that I was able to find when I searched. So no support is offered. The website suggests that I create an account to be able to post a new issue. However, Every time I have tried to set up a github.com account, I am Unable to do so. The page to set up an account either doesn't load OR if it loads, I can not add any information to it. I am a VDH Registered User and until this morning, the current VDH app I am using, version 8.2.1.1 was working just fine. But now when I try to use it, it says that my VDH Companion App needs to be updated. But I can not even download it to update it. I am running the current version of FF, 123.0.1 on an iMac with Sonoma OS 14.4. We used to be able to email Mig but not anymore. The github.com support page is unwieldy at best and I see that numerous requests for help or support have not been answered or even acknowledged. I am a paid Registered user with a license, but that doesn't seem to matter. I, like many others from what I read online, count on using this app almost every day and I would think that the mechanism for updates should be working correctly. The update files I tried to download came across at crazy low speeds, like 20.1 to 40.5 Kbps! I spent over an hour with Tech Support for HughesNet and much to my chagrin, No Other Websites had any issues with download speed. It was only happening on the github.com website and this one file update. Sorry if TMI but I am just trying to thorough.

I have enclosed a screenshot showing what happens when I want to go to a new tab on the two computers I use most often. One is my desktop which has Windows 10 Home. The other is my laptop which has Windows 10 Pro. The Windows 10 Home was installed most recently and is the latest version of Windows 10, my tech guy told me; and also the latest version of Firefox 123.0.1. The laptop version of Windows 10 is older. The Firefox version is also 123.0.1.

My hope is that there is a setting I have not uncovered that lets me put some kind of mark on a new tab, as my laptop has had for a few years. This makes it very easy to open. The newer, later Windows version but same Firefox 123.0.1 on the desktop must be right-clicked in the space to the right of any open site, and then the user must scroll down to the "New Tab" line and click on it. Obviously this requires my user clicks and more time, simply to get a new tab that gives me a blank site that I prefer.

I appreciate whatever guidance or suggestions anyone can give.
